In 1993, Trump signed a mortgage for a Florida home, pledging it would be his principal residence. Seven weeks later, he attested a neighboring property would also be his principal residence. In reality, he does not seem to have lived in either home. propublica.org/article/trump-…

it's actually a bit worse. the letter to Cook is dated August 5. So as Blanche was apparently attentively listening to Cassidy (and other's) concerns about weaponization and lawfare, the administration was already gearing up to try and fire Cook again.

Not a big deal and certainly not determinative. But Cassidy voting yes on Blanche doesn't help Collins, who will continue to be tagged with only voting against Trump when her vote doesn't matter.
