I've had something of an obsession about liveblog plugins for WordPress for many years. I have a first working version of a brand new plugin, designed for Gutenberg, with optional use of Cloudflare. All the features you expect, plus a few new ideas. Anyone interested?

You wanna know where the name Code For The People came from? Me & Simon Wheatley spent months trying to find a name for our proposed agency. We both respected Automattic, so we tried spawning some ideas off that. I thought of the REM album, Automatic For The People. Yeah? Yeah.

I watched the Code For The People movie. I'm not in it. Then again, nor is anyone else from the community who isn't on the A8c payroll. Which is a little awkward for a film talking up WP's community credentials.

Alpaca Issue Tracker has spawned a personal side project! I'm building a collaborative task manager, packaged as a WordPress theme, presenting as a single-page React app (PWA), optionally backed by an interactive bot on Telegram. Currently testing it with my poor family.
