I like how consistently crypto VCs are now following (and talking about) AI updates. I told an audience at webX in Tokyo.. there is no web3 without AI. The scope of the version upgrade has broadened!For those who just glanced at this headline: Qwen3.8-Max is in a sense more economically significant than Kimi. This is a frontier-level multimodal model, roughly on par with Kimi. Kimi is priced at $15/M out, while Opus is $25/M out. Kimi brought down the frontier price by- Jfyi.. not that diff from Google/Meta. Also imp to know what the valuation of that equity is - most ppl I mentor come to the conclusion that it’s better to do your own startup! - People managers need to have 1:1s. Moms/Dads need to talk to their kids. Teachers need to talk to a classroom. The iPad has shown me (I won’t speak for my generation) that some shit should not be replaced by tech.. it leads to unpredictable and often bad outcomes.cool use case of chatgpt work i heard last night: connect your family calendars and explain your kids' interests. every morning for the drive to school, have it make a podcast that talks about one kid's soccer game that afternoon, one kid's upcoming birthday, some news, etc.
