V's new compiler went from passing 81% of tests to 100%! All tests now pass, and every example compiles. The new compiler will soon become the default on macOS, with other operating systems to follow. The old compiler will remain available for one year via v -old-compiler.

vfmt now handles this big change and automatically migrates your code from json to json2. You don't need to do anything.

V's experimental pure V x.json2 module is now stable and has been moved to json2. It's replaced the old cJSON based json module.
