🛠️ How to Start — 4 Steps

1️⃣ Create your Telegram bot

Open @BotFather in Telegram, create a new bot, and copy your API token. This will be your store’s Telegram identity.

2️⃣ Register your shop in Botoscope

Go to @botoscope_bot on Telegram. Create a new connection using your bot token. Choose the free plan or top up your balance for the full version.

You’ll receive your connection credentials (API key, password, proxy server) — keep them handy for the next step.

3️⃣ Install the Botoscope plugin on your WordPress site

⬇️ Download Botoscope plugin and install it via WordPress admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload.

Then open your wp-config.php file and add the credentials you received in step 2.

4️⃣ Sync and go live

In your WordPress admin go to Botoscope → System Controls and click “Full data synchronization with Telegram”. Your products, categories and settings will sync to the bot.

Do I need a Telegram bot to use Botoscope?

Yes — you create a free bot via @BotFather in about 2 minutes. Botoscope connects your WooCommerce store to that bot.

Does it work with my existing WooCommerce products?

Yes. Botoscope syncs your existing catalog — products, categories, prices, stock, images — directly to Telegram. Nothing needs to be re-entered.

Can I accept real payments?

Yes. Stripe, PayPal, Telegram Stars, LiqPay, CryptoBot, CoinGate and Bank Transfer are all supported. You connect your own payment accounts — Botoscope provides the integration.

What happens after 14 days on the free plan?

A Reconnect button will appear in @botoscope_bot — tap it within the available window to keep your shop running without any changes. If you miss it, your connection will be automatically deleted — but don’t worry, nothing is lost. Simply create a new connection in @botoscope_bot and update your wp-config.php with the new credentials following this guide. Or upgrade to remove this limitation entirely.

Is there any commission on sales?

None. Zero. Botoscope charges only for the hours your shop is active — everything you sell is yours.

Can I add product filters to my Telegram shop?

Yes — product filtering is powered by HUSKY – WooCommerce Products Filter Professional. Install it alongside Botoscope and your customers will be able to filter by category, price, attributes, tags and more — directly inside Telegram.

Can I offer multiple currencies in my Telegram shop?

Yes — multi-currency support is powered by FOX – WooCommerce Currency Switcher Professional. Install it and your customers can switch between currencies in real time inside the bot. After installing and configuring the plugin go to Botoscope → System Controls and click “Synchronize options” to apply the changes to your Telegram shop.

Can I manage and update products in bulk?

Yes — install BEAR – WooCommerce Bulk Editor Professional and you can update prices, stock, categories and more for hundreds of products at once — directly from your WordPress admin. After updating, go to Botoscope → System Controls and click “Synchronize products” to apply the changes to your Telegram shop.
