Dropdown in settings editor does not work anymore

I cannot click the dropdown anymore in settings editor:

Latest from main on macOS, I can reproduce even from a fresh profile without settings.

Since this reproduces even in other places where we use custom dropdown, maybe its related to @sandy081 profile editor work?
