To maintain a professional, inclusive, and competitive environment, all participants are required to adhere to the following rules and guidelines throughout HackNova.
Team Rules
- Each team must consist of 1 to 4 members.
- Participants can form teams prior to the event or on the day of the hackathon.
- All team members must be officially registered.
- Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged to promote diverse ideas and innovation.
Submission Rules
- All projects must be developed during the hackathon duration.

Submissions must include:
- Project description
- Source code (GitHub or similar)
- Demo video or live prototype (if applicable)
- All submissions must be completed before the official deadline.
- Late entries will not be considered for evaluation.
Code of Conduct
- Participants must maintain professional and respectful behavior at all times.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will lead to disqualification.
- Collaboration is encouraged, but integrity must be maintained.
- Follow all instructions provided by organizers and mentors.
Plagiarism Policy
- All projects must be original work created during the hackathon.
- Use of open-source libraries and APIs is allowed, but must be properly credited.
- Copying existing projects or submitting pre-built solutions is strictly prohibited.
- Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
