MANRS Programs

The University of Maine System is a strong supporter of the MANRS initiative and will follow its guidance to assist in the stabilization of the routing infrastructure of the Internet.

Microsoft takes Internet security seriously and has decided to join the Internet Society's MANRS initiative to increase security for all of our customers on the Internet. Microsoft works extensively with the industry to assist our partners with improving their routing security to ensure the Internet is secure and safe to use.

Foton Telecom, CJSC (AS42861) is dedicated to providing secure and robust internet infrastructure for its customers. We believe that routing security is imperative for the sustainability of the global communications network. Maintaining Internet routing security is our shared responsibility. By joining MANRS and adopting its recommended practices, we committed to enhanced our network and we express our intent to contribute to build a strong and secure foundation for the Internet.

We stand behind the MANRS initiative, especially taking into account our primary goal of adhering and refining of industry best-practices, as far as security and data protection are concerned. Initiatives of the nature of MANRS are always welcome, in the spirit of improving both our internal quality assurance and security efforts in the medium-term.

IXSal, the first IXP in operation for El Salvador, has come a long way in order to get the early adopters together, interconnected, and exchanging traffic. We are aiming at getting more local operators connected, and one of the key added values we offer is our adhesion to world security and stability standards and good practices. For sure, MANRS is one of those practices and guidelines that help us make the Internet traffic more secure in El Salvador, and thus we are confident that, by complying with MANRS, we contribute to a better Internet for all.

1&1 Internet is committed to responsible network routing practices and robust global routing policies as a foundation of a resilient Internet. MANRS is a great initiative to help operators live up to the necessary standards.

For Arista, security is a key attribute of our overall solution, starting at the routing perimeter for worldwide Internet resiliency. As a global industry leader in cloud networking, we want to take part in the efforts to secure the Internet as well. MANRS is providing great guidelines to achieve that goal and Arista Networks is proud to be a founding participant of the MANRS Vendor Program.

We, at NIX.CZ, believe internet security is very important. For this reason we do our best to secure internet exchange in Prague with best in class security policies. Our aim is to deliver stable, reliable and secure platform for data exchange.

PIT Bolivia’s vision is to be a point of reference in the digital environment that contributes to the improvement of the Internet in Bolivia. For this it is vital to implement good international practices to ensure routing between the different Internet agents in Bolivia that exchange traffic.

RENU joins MANRS to improve its security posture on the internet by acting upon and deploying MANRS actions that can improve the security of the global routing table. For a long time, multiple routing incidents such as route hijacks, route leaks and IP address spoofing have occurred on the internet causing network outages and cost implications to many companies. RENU also wants to ease collaboration with other network operators thus encouraging stability and reliability on the internet.

Since its beginnings, RedIRIS has striven to maintain a secure and resilient network, deploying the most updated best practices and, as a National R&E Network, disseminating them to its customers in order to get from them a commitment of deploying these best practices in their networks as well. Adhering to MANRS initiative reinforces this position.

I believe it is in the worlds best interest to make an effort to ensure stability and security at all levels for providers. It is our job to ensure our services, our products, are helping, and not hindering, by connecting to the world. We do our best as a provider to follow this mentality and pass it on to our customers and our peers. We believe that joining MANRS will help spotlight these ideals.
