SCOPE OF THIS POLICY
At Parents Helping Parents, Inc., we too are parents of children with disabilities and understand that safeguarding your family’s private information is of the utmost importance. We value the privacy of individuals who use our website (available at php.com) and related services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and disclose information from Parents Helping Parents users (“Users”). By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes.
COLLECTION
We may collect a variety of information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.
A. Information You Provide To Us.
- Registration and Account Information. If you register for our Parents Helping Parents Services, we ask for your name, email address, city, county, state, country, zip code and preferred language. We also ask for your child’s month and year of birth and race/ethnicity. We ask if your child is a client of a Regional Center, and if so, which one. In addition, you may choose to provide us with your phone number, child’s disability or condition, and how you heard about us.
- Donation Information. If you decide to make a donation to us through our Services, we ask for your donation amount, donation frequency, and payment information such as credit or debit card number, or stock information. We ask for your name, address and email. You may also choose to provide us with information about your employer, your partner’s employer, their donation matching programs, a donation dedication message, and any other information you think we should know in connection with your donation. If you provide payment information to us by credit or debit card, a third party service provider that handles payments for us will receive and store that information.
- Payment Information. We may ask for your payment information, such as credit or debit card number, if you decide to, for example, register for paid classes and conferences through our services. If you provide credit or debit card payment information to us, a third party service provider that handles payments for us will receive and store that information.
- Communications. If you choose to contact us directly, we may receive information about you, including your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide. If you call us, we may receive your phone number, and you can choose to not share other identifying information with us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may receive information about you, including your name, email address, phone number, zip code, company, child’s age, child’s condition, email list subscription preferences, and any other information you may choose to provide to us. When you communicate with us online, third party vendors receive and store these communications on our behalf. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt out from receiving newsletter emails from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us. If you opt-in to our text messages, we may receive information about you, including your name, phone number, and the contents of your message, and any other information you choose to provide. You may opt-out of text messaging at any time by replying to any message with STOP. This will end the communications from that particular phone number. You may continue to receive service-related and other text messages from other phone numbers managed by PHP, and you may opt out of those in a similar fashion.

We and our third-party partners, collect information about your activities on our Services using cookies, pixel tags, SDKs, or other tracking technologies.
