Curious, were you able to get this fixed @tarnationsports? Seems like this issue has become a big problem with many other users (including myself) as well.

New subs are not registering as of 8AM yesterday. I registered myself and no welcome letter was sent, although the new sub was added to subscriber dbase.
Update – when I chenged the confirmation to “No Confirmation required”, then everything works as expected. So the problem, which just cropped up sometime yesterday AM, seems connected to the confirmation feature.

—but this theme has run unchanged for a year in harmony with MPoet.
The only software modifications I made yesterday which possibly could have made some change to MPoet is Advanced iFrame (which works ratther nicely), but I deactivated it yesterday, too. I will uninstall it and try again with the Confirmation activated…
Deleting Advanced iFrame seems to have worked. I also deleted Captain Favicon, an ico plugin which has been intermittent for quite a while.
