Hi, I'm Andy and I'm a web design enthusiast, living in the south of England. I'm in my early 60s and my girlfriend would probably describe me as a bit of an old geek.
Much has change in the world of design over the last 20 years, since I designed my first website, and there are some incredible sites about. Not only are some of them truly beautiful but they also seem extremely complicated, to an amateur like me. They really are works of art though.
I'm afraid that I'm only comfortable with simple HTML and the basics of CSS but that's ok with me...
Discovering GitHub
I've been on a voyage of discovery in the past week, finding out a little bit about GitHub. I knew that it was a place where people kept some sort of code but that was all. I now realise that an awful lot of web designers use it to collaborate on various projects. It seems like something that I should be learning about so I apologise if I start asking questions..
Forking a repository and opening a pull request are a different language to me :)
Oh well, I've installed GIT and hope that I can learn a little..
