Feature and motivation

Is it possible to update Chrome/ChromeDriver to the latest version when starting the container , without having to update the entire application deployment?

Usage example

A script that updates to the latest version of Chrome when the container starts.

I think we can implement that, however that need to run container with default user (without using random UID), which has permission for apt update

I already implemented this, will add a PR and release soon. However, there are a few points need to know

• This update is during the container runtime, so after the container gets restarted, updated binaries will be lost unless you call the update script within the build process.
• This is enabled by env var flag, and false by default, not impact usual user. But if you enable this, it can impact the start-up time of the container.

We wrap up all needed steps in a shell script, so users can proactive to call it, but should call it in build process (create your own Dockerfile, reuse image layer and run that script. You will have a pre-built image with browser change only)
