i regret not taking pictures of yesterday cos it was pretty fun to hang out with such an international gang but on the other hand i was too paiseh to request a photo. hahaha! (people shy lah)

so yesterday was pretty boring. dad's students came over in the afternoon and then kor kor darryl came over with clara cheche and dale and dwayne. and then fooled around and stuff. then it was pretty late in the evening when we headed down to uncle paddy's house.

then it was a very fulfilling dinner with like,
spaghetti with clams,
sashimi (lots of them),
fresh oysters (quite skinny though! haha),
sushi,
satay,
pizza,
sausages,
etc.
all the good food la. i didn't eat much but it was alot of raw food that went into my stomach. like oysters and the sashimi. haha. so it kinda felt like my stomach was gonna explode any second soon.

then i got quite agitated cos i was so freaking bored. imagine you're the only one of your age and everyone else there is older. and all talking about subjects that you find such a chore and thought that it'd only be heard of mostly in textbooks and notes. yeah. so it was mainly business talk and economic stuff, which obviously i didn't want to bore myself of during the festive season.

phew.

then we met this Japanese chef who's uncle paddy's long-time friend. and yeah his son was there. and mum and him were trying to intro us?! =.=

okay. and then yeah la. giffy's (uncle paddy's thai friend's son) friends were there. 1 vietnamese and 1 korean. haha. so it was some international cast there. quite cool huh. i ended up playing mahjong with like, 1 vietnamese, 1 korean and 1 thai. and giffy was not bad for a beginner okay! he won like 2/5 rounds. i won 3 i think. haha but play for fun since we're all novices.

and uncle paddy's jap friend was quite 'cheeky'. kept teasing me and all. and his son is super 'local' unlike his father. haha. then later on he joined us in blackjack. i won quite abit okay! :D was quite lucky with the picture cards and the 10s. haha. no blackjacks spot-on though. but my 5th cards were all small! twice i didn't bust after getting my 5th card. heh.

good fengshui. ;)

so mahjong was super fun and blackjack too! haha small bets only la. cny is meant for gambling! alright i think that's about all. i gotta do more work soon before sch reopens tmr again. super sian man.

i wanna go shopping! :( okay later.
