Letter of the Week { Cc }

Yay, another Letter of the Week pack!

I am so glad that I am making these packs, it's just too bad it has taken me this long to get serious about making them for the entire alphabet.  I find it's always super nice to wake up on a random day and go, "oh I need a worksheet for this.... " and voila, I'll have it good to go.  Additionally, even though Charlotte is already doing very well in the alphabet department, she is able to utilize a number of these worksheets as we go along too.

Yeah, so just right click the page above to download the main portion of this weeks pack.

In the second portion we have the bracelets, jigsaws, and odds and ends.

This is a separate download, please click the picture below for that particular pack.

And because I'm not really one for procrastination I also have the third portion all good to go as well today.

I hope you are enjoying these worksheets and that they are useful for you.

Thanks so much for visiting.

{ Letter c }

I just love it when we leave a paper trail and pack in some learning progress.

This week we did the letter { c }.

Nothing better than catching photos random, on the spur of the moment, unseen.
I peeked out the kitchen window to find this outside:

{ Week 13 }

This week I did a quick count up to see how many Maths lessons we've done and was super happy to find that we'd already done 65 days worth of Maths for the year, including today.  What this actually means for us, is that we are almost 1/3 of the way done for this school year.

That's a LOT of Math lessons.

For Science this week Hannah did the following work.  She did it without any assistance whatsoever.  First she outlined, and then she wrote her piece - all by herself.

Image

The BEST moment in my life this week was this:
Noah sleeping as a real child would, in his cot, on his side.
I can't even begin to tell you how gorgeous this was.

Charlotte continues on with her tracing of the alphabet:

And finally, my dear friends, I leave you with the LONGEST sentence that I read this week:

Now Brutus, feeling that the noblest spirits of Rome for virtue, birth, or courage were depending upon him, and surveying with himself all the circumstances of the dangers they were to encounter, strove indeed as much as possible, when abroad, to keep his uneasiness of mind to himself, and to compose his thoughts; but at home, and especially at night, he was not the same man, but sometimes against his will his working care would make him start out of his sleep, and other times he was taken up with further reflection and consideration of his difficulties, so that his wife that lay with him could not choose but take notice that he was full of unusual trouble, and had in agitation some dangerous and perplexing question.

ha ha ha - true story.

Alphabet Game Boards

I'm just dropping in super quick before the house chaotically runs off the ends of the world.  Me and Daniel have all 6 little children today.  By ourselves.  Yep.

And I know I have at least 3 loads of washing.  Oh, That's nothing~!!  But did I tell you it's a 9.5kg washer?

But I am super smart - I already have the crockpot cooking lunch.

But maybe I am dumb - I gave 5/6 children Fruit Loops for breakfast.

True story.

At least it is looking like it is going to be a sunny day~!!  Can anyone say, "play outside, jump on the trampoline, and look for ants"?

But if you can't go outside and play, and you HAVE to be inside maybe you can play these two alphabet games.

I make them up in a file folder.

Don't forget to check TpT for the game boards for A and B while you are there too.

More Mini Fold Ups

Seriously - this week was bad.   All of us at one point was down and out with a super bug of the flu of sorts.  The 4th round in the house this winter.  All the children ended up on antibiotics.  We quit daycare ( permanently ) for the 2 grandbabies.

The good news is that we gave Letrell a hair cut.  We also took both grandbabies off bottles and started using cups.  Working awesome~!!  I am so happy about that.  Amazing.  This means no more middle of the night feeds, which in turn is causing them to sleep better during the nights.   Their behaviour is also improved as well, but we totally cut all the lollies and junk.  Another bonus.  Yay~!!  And lastly - little Kadafi who really doesn't like to eat - EATS.  We sit him with the other children eating and he just joins in.  So happy about all the progress.  Finally, after 6 months of not going anywhere with it all.

But, I know coming here isn't all about me just talking family stuff with you,

it's about school stuff, so here are a couple of freebies for fun.  :o)

The Letter /c/

Image

This week I just wanted to pop in and do a quick show and tell on a couple of worksheets that Hannah ( 3y2m) worked on.  Oh, and to  give you all a couple of freebies too~!!

The first one was an activity on listening to the FIRST sound.

Image

 This next one was about trying to match the pictures up with their names.  I had to help with that, but it made a nice little pasting activity.  :o)

Image

If you're interested you can have a copy of the above worksheet, just click HERE.

And because I managed to find some time this afternoon to just sit and relax I was able to dig up an old file from a couple of years ago.  I figured that it would go well with todays letter.  Just click the worksheet.  :)
