It’s appropriate that this is my first Slash Page. I’ll get around to creating some others (after a coffee or two ☕).

I am a self-confessed coffee addict enthusiast (a purist even 😬).

My coffee order of choice is a Long Black (or an iced Long Black on an especially hot day), accompanied by a sparkling mineral (or soda) water.

I broadly rank coffee apparatus/methods (best to worst) as follows:

  • espresso machine

  • stove top (Moka Pot)

  • AeroPress

  • pour over

  • pod machine

  • plunger (French Press)

  • drip machine desperate times

  • coffee bags only in case of emergency

  • instant last resort
