A Fun Day!

The downtown city library had this cute art display down in the Children's section, so one Thursday, Mom and Addie met me at the library and we all took a look at it. It was several famous paintings all done with cats.

We got the tail end of a salute here.

After that we went to lunch and then out to play with Eli and Zoe.  We spent part of that time reading library books and even Eli paid attention for a few of them.

We also had dinner out there. These two girls were just having a great time together!

Chicago Trip March 2013: Part 2 Beads, Library & Legos

The following day started out at Bead Heaven where the boys, Mom and I got a little crafty.

Then, seeing as it was Thursday morning, I felt the need to go to the library.

The boys gave us a tour around and then set off to play their own version of checkers.

That afternoon we went to Legoland.

A lego spider that was at least 4 feet in diameter.

They had a whole Star Wars display which was pretty cool.

The boys spent awhile just playing around. Will entered the contest to make his favorite food out of Legos. Can you tell what it is? It's a banana! He even won a prize for it.

Walker and I were just behind him. When you pedaled you flew higher. These were definitely not made for adults because my knees kept bumping into the front of it.

When we arrived home the boys found a package from UPS waiting for them.

Walker was definitely more into them. I thought these poses were awesome!

Lovin' the Library

We try to go to the library at least once a month with my niece. It's always fun. We've been there enough that she has her favorite spots. These black chairs are her absolute favorites.

Although, she likes snuggling in these little seats too.

Downtown Library Trip

When my nephews were up in February we also took the time to go to the downtown library. They were hosting a Lego exhibit that the boys found interesting. They love going to the library!
