hair help!

tI have a hair cut coming up on Saturday and I haven't had a hair cut since LAST MAY. Yikes. I need some help. Here's me a few years ago when I had my hair cut super short (for me)

Image
My hair is very thick, coarse, and curly/wavy. Humidity is NOT my friend. I have a LOT of product in my hair up there ^

Here is my hair now, pretty quick out of the shower and totally unfixed:

Here it is pulled back & fixed:

At the least I need a few inches trimmed and my hair thinned. There's no way you can tell how very, very thick my hair is in these pictures so just trust me. I've never once sat down in a new stylist's chair without them expressing shock at how much hair I have.

So... would this cut (but with side swept bangs) look good on me? (It's OK to say no!)

Or this one:

Or, a little longer like #3

Not actually sure my hair will do this without some straightening...

Or, something else entirely! HELP!

I like the first one! It's cute and I think it would work with your curl pattern. The bangs on the other two scare me... bangs seem so high maintenance to me.

I like 2 and 3 but I like having swoopy side bangs. maybe if it's cut similar to 2 it will blow out like 3 if you have time?

I like #1 best because I think that is a good length for around your face, but it looks like it is a bit inverted with the back shorter than the front which would get rid of a lot of the heaviness. I don't think you could go wrong within any of them though, they all suit you. :)

All I know is I feel your pain re: the thick hair. I feel like we basically have the same head of hair, though yours looks a bit more curly. Mine is more wavy (read: weirdly bumpy.)
My very first haircut consisted of the stylist running her hands through my hair, then turning in shock to another stylist next to her and saying, "If my hair was this thick I'd kill myself!" True story.

Sorry, hit publish too fast. The rest is that I love all those haircuts and I think the first would be easiest to maintain on a daily basis, but the last second is my actual favorite.
