Farmers are advised to clean and repair irrigation canals, dikes, and drainage systems to prevent flooding. Planting should be adjusted according to soil moisture and rainfall conditions, and overly wet fields should be avoided. Proper plant spacing should be maintained to reduce pest and disease incidence. Fertilizer application should be reduced or postponed during heavy rains, and compost or organic fertilizers are recommended to improve soil structure. Regular monitoring for pests and diseases, especially fungal infections, is advised. Gale Warning is raised over the western seaboard of Northern Luzon, including Ilocos Norte (Burgos, Pasuquin, Bacarra, Laoag City, Paoay, Currimao, Pinili, and Badoc) and Ilocos Sur (Sinait and Cabugao).”.

Rough seas will be experienced over Northern Luzon while moderate to rough seas will prevail over the rest of Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas while slight to moderate seas will prevail over the rest of the archipelago.
