Becoming Someone: Hair Tutorial
P.S. Do you have a great hair tutorial? Leave the link in a comment! Share the love!
*And don't forget, today is the last day to enter the Christmas card giveaway! *
Becoming Someone: Hair Tutorial
Lots of people are lovin the sock bun curls (Tutorial here). It's supposed to make the curls shown on the right. It worked well for me, but unfortunately, a little too well. My hair was defying lots of gravity in all it's Shirley Temple glory, but if you have straighter hair, I bet it will work great. The how to make a sock bun tutorial is here and a sock donut here. Let me know if you have success!
Becoming Someone: Hair Tutorial
I love this hair tutorial! It creates beautiful loose curls that hold. My loose curls always go flat and nast by the end of the day, but this makes them look great and LAST! Give yourself plenty of time on the first try. I did mine after washing and blow drying my hair, and it worked great. Let me know if it works for you!
Becoming Someone: Hair Tutorial
I have a simple and easy hair tutorial to share. You can find it here. It's a quick twist to keep your bangs out of your eyes and is perfect for the days when I sleep in (Like today). Do you have any good hair tutorials to share? Also, what have YOU been doing to become someone? I'd love you to guest post and tell us all about something new you've been trying. Let me know if you wanna!
Becoming Someone with Bangs
So I'm love with Natalie's bangs.
And Taza's bangs (On left).
But it's pretty funky, and I'm not very funky. Can I pull it off, or do I keep looking? I need help here.
P.S. This weekend is Landon Paul's birthday.
It's gonna be great.
I can't even wait.
We'll stay up late
on our date,
cause he's my very best mate. :)
Becoming Someone: Hair Trick
Also, I didn't mention that these curls HOLD. Many of the curls last through the next day, so I let a few hang out of a messy bun and call it a day. Here's a pic of the curls when I do them with dry hair the night before (Have I mentioned how ridiculous I look in self portraits? Count this as the first and last one I do).
You know why else I love this? It's completely heatless which holds better that way and doesn't kill our hair-bueno. Have you tried it? What did you think?
Becoming Someone: Hair Trick
I'd like to introduce you to an AMAZING tutorial.
You can thank me later. It's SO CUTE and SO EASY. I shower at night, let my hair dry almost completely. I follow the tutorial. Then I wake up, pull it out, put in some hair spray, and call it a day. She brushes it out to make loose curls. My hair is naturally curly, and I prefer the BOING, so I didn't brush it through. Let me know if you try it! Everyone's curls look a little different. I've tried it with both wet and dry hair. The curls were more poofy with dry hair and more boingy with wet hair, so test it out and see what you like!

Becoming Someone with Rockin Hair Color
THANK YOU SO MUCH for your bang advice! I'm using your tips, so we'll see if we can get this thing figured out. Now, to color. I have SUPER pale skin and really dark hair. The dilemma: Do I rock the Snow White look (Dye it black and get me some bright red lipstick), or do I warm up it up a little?

Becoming Someone with Bangs?
So here's the thing-hair has never been my forte, and I don't have girl roommates anymore who can give me hair tips, so I really really really need your help. :)
Remember when I said I wanted to redo my hair? I ended up getting me some bangs and doing some red highlights. It was subtle. I like it, but this time I want to something CRAZY DIFFERENT.
Note: Thin swoopy bangs don't really work. See this photo? They just hang to the side awkwardly. So I've been collecting ideas over the last little bit, and I NEED YOU TO VOTE on what I should do. We start with the bangs dilemma...
