i can't believe it has been over a month since my last post... i still have lots of projects to share!

this was so much more vibrant in person! pinks, green and brown to match bedding! precious!

hospital stat canvas

 

this was a shower gift for a friend who used michael miller's tweet tweet fabric (one of my all time faves) in her sweet baby girl's room. 

it's an 8x10 canvas on which i left spaces for her to add baby arabella's birth stats (i think you can probably see my pencil marks where each "stat" should go)! the idea was to share it on the door of her hospital room, then to have it as a special keepsake in her room when she is home!

mountain biker jackson

is this not the cutest thing? jackson's mom brought me a fun book that she wanted me to adapt into a canvas for his room! unfortunately, you can't see a couple of the neat details in this one... his bandana around his neck is a piece of his bedding fabric, and there are real rocks and dirt painted into the ground he is biking on!

presley's princess pad!

what a fabulous room for a special little girl! her grandmother was my third grade teacher, but her mom and i didn't realize it until we had already begun working together! anyway, this sweet room was meticulously planned, so i had lots of fun getting to create a special canvas just for her!

so precious -- i love this canvas size for this particular design. it is a 12x24, and the ballerina just fits perfectly!

a new friend asked me to do these for her, and the above pictures were taken on my phone because my camera was seriously on the fritz, so bear with the sad pictures! below are the canvases in her house...

they are quite large, 30x40 each, and make quite a statement together! that must be a big ole tv, though -- it dwarfs the canvases!!!

for the hospital...

a friend asked me to do this for a baby shower gift, which the parents could then use on the hospital room door when miss ali marie is born (after filling in her data, of course!), and then it can go home with the family to her new room! sweet gift!

fire truck!

I don't know how I have forgotten to post this, but I painted a new fire truck a couple of months back for this sweet little man's big boy room! Isn't it sweet? Maybe his mom will send me a close-up of the canvas... I really thought I took one before it went to his house!

i did this set of family rules as a VERY custom order -- definitely a big undertaking, i will admit. though i am pretty pleased with the outcome...
