You must be a student and must able to attend the in-person event at Claremont Graduate University. Travel and lodging is not included.

Judging Criteria
Socially Responsible Impact in Innovation (20%)
| 1-5 | Solution addresses a problem that impacts real people. |
| 1-5 | Solution demonstrates and specifies responsible intent across target end users. |
| 1-5 | Solution addresses people who are traditionally forgotten, marginalized, or blocked by this kind of technology. |
Ease of Use, Transparency, and Explainability (20%)
| 1-5 | Solution features clarity and insightfulness of visual outputs (i.e., user interface, maps) |
| 1-5 | Solutions are clear and accessible to end users. |
| 1-5 | Users can follow the reasoning or logic behind AI-provided answers, avoids unexplainable behavior. |
Use of Innovative Technology and Intelligent Adaptation (20%)
| 1-5 | Design of AI system is original and adaptable to realistic use cases. |
| 1-5 | Solutions developed by prompted or pre-trained AI models have high impact on described problem. |
| 1-5 | Pre-trained models (including but not limited to GeoAI) precisely and correctly use spatial or contextual analysis |
User Safety and Trust (20%)
| 1-5 | User trust and safety is centered throughout the experience, proactively securing users' information. |
| 1-5 | Solution provides explicit disclosures in alerting users of ethical risks, potential unintended consequences, and misuse. |

Presentation and Storytelling (20%)
