Our amigo Parker has followed up killer bootlegs such as Where's My Monkey and his Dubstep version of It's A Man's World with another stormer. Taking Iron Man from Black Sabbath and building it up with some extra beefed up armour. Ready to take out anything in it's path with a hefty new Dubstep / Breaks makeover.
I'm greatly looking forwards to next Friday where I'm about to enter a head to head clash with one of the best DJs out there,DJ Moneyshot. Possibly not a name that springs instantly to mind for you guys, especially the straight up Bass heads out there but he's a favourite on Ninja Tunes' Solid Steel radio and before he set off to the land of Oz for a while had a quality show on the now sadly defunct XFM Wales with his long term back to back buddy Parker (it's Moneyshot trying to explain the "state of the zookeeping industry" on Where's My Monkey?).
Although I shall be dipping into many a chrome plated tune the music policy is most likely to be more fun and funk driven (for more serious sets look out for Kaptin Is Dead) with plenty of crate digging and mash ups going on. This selection from DJ Moneyshot should give you some idea on the general vibe, couple have already been getting love from Huw StephensandRob Da Bank on BBC Radio 1.
A quadruped of quality mixtapes for you to munch on right now, and right tasty snacks they are too: First up our boy Parker, who has managed to crack smiles from even the most hardcore Dubstep head with his Where's My Monkey bootleg, serves us a slice of what he's delivering to the clubs right now. An eclectic mix which matches up the likes of Nat King Cole, Lethal Bizzle and Subfocus with his own productions, bootlegs and The Beekeepers project (with Boca 45); out of the east is our girl Soulflower sending us over Sub signals from all directions; and our co-conspirator in the bass blog global takeover, Psymbionic from Bwomp Beats lays down some Crunkadelic 'Trip-step' flavours; and finally a different representation of the Haiti we've seen on our televisisons of late,DJ Still Life has compiled some of his favourite Rap Kreyol tracks from the island. These artists obviously need even more support than ever at the moment so if you're feeling it make sure to check out some more from those included.

Parker returns in full festive mode, taking on Bing Crosby's version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and flipping it Drum & Bass style to turn your Christmas party into a proper seasonal rave up. Now all you need is someone to season the mulled wine with some extra spices and Black Friday won't seem quite so darkside.
But the Christmas chrome cheer doesn't stop there, iamxl give's us a B'more remix of a Hawaiian Christmas classic and our favourite twisted techno freaks Sicknote have chosen the seasonal sentiments in the Frog Song to spread their own brand of XXXmas loving. More of a cover than a remix, we're not so sure Macca would stand together with them on this DnB style flex, but then who really gives a f**k.
The temptation to hibernate at winter is pretty strong but we're fighting the urge to spend our time indoors in the warmth, as that can soon get pretty gloomy when the lack of sun and social interaction kicks in alongside the Christmas shopping list. It's a good thing I did venture outside to scour the streets of Bristol for presents or I would never have bumped into local tune pusherDJ Lekanand I would never have been able to share these new tunes he just hit me up with. Both from Bristol boys but featuring two of the UK's top emcees,Roots Manuva and Sway respectively, these both have an intriguing kinda Grime meets Swing flavour although in different ways. That in itself is pretty Bristolian whether they realised it or not. You may have already caughtStone's track on Toddla T's Fabriclive 47 mix whilst the Kners tune, that was produced by one our favourite Glastofarian's Ninth Letta and also features one time X Factor singer Nicole Jackson, has been getting some love from BBC 1Xtra.
Seems only fair to mention another two Bristol based folk seeing as their remixes have been blowing up our blog big time. Parker has had a crazy amount of love for his Where's My Monkey bootleg with 56,000 views on the YouTube video. He's just dropped a heavy funk fuelled breaks / Hip-hop project alongside Boca 45 under the nameThe Beekeepers. Their Bee Funk EP came out yesterday on Jalapeno Records and to follow up his Pony Remix that was riding high in the Hype Machine popular list for some time, Boson dropped us this wicked little skank n grind track he cooked up.
Why stop there? Whilst we're back wondering the streets of Bristol later, we may well wander intoMr Wolf's and catch the Weapon Of Choice night that, amongst a hefty line up features one of our local favourites, Vertebrae, an excellent crew of whom two of their members have hit us up with some fresh tuneage. Ben One gives us some weighty instrumental Glitch hop whilst Awkward features alongside an all star cast on this track from Chicago / LA rapper Open Mike Eagle.
By know you should all be getting your neck snap on to Moneyshot's remix of Where's My Money, well not to be outdone by his long time partner in crime, Parkerhas also done this genius bootleg of said track mixed up with the Jungle Book classic King Of the Swingers, time to go bananas people!
Our boy Parker has come up with some fine funkdafied goodies in the past, generally a tad too traditional for these pages but dope nonetheless. However when it comes to his interpretation of the Godfather of Funk himself he's gone rather Dubstep on us, albeit from a classic live stance in keeping with his general style. The track is part of a wider collection of James Brown 'regrooves' by Bristol based club night come label Goodgroove Records.
