So I'm about 6 months behind on this blog, but I am going to do my best to remember what we were doing. Thank goodness for pictures!
In the summer of 2012, Clint and some friends (Russell and Chad Powell) formed a band that was only going to be for the summer since we were moving to New York for school, and Russell and his family were moving to Virginia for Dental School. The group's name was "The Prisms" and they played 80's synthesizer pop music. They played a handful of shows in the Boise and Rexburg areas and had a blast playing some original and some cover songs. The summer ended, and we all went our separate ways. Well this spring, Chad was on the planning committee for the "Bo-Glo 5K"(Boise Glow for Cushing's Awareness). It was a 5k run that happened at night and all the runners were decked out in glow sticks. Well they had an entertainment budget, so they decided to fly Clint and Russ in so the Prisms could perform at the finish line. Clint was able to make arrangements at school so that he would be able to go, and since Owen wasn't 2 and could fly for free, he went along for the ride too! We kept the Owen part as a surprise for Grandma Arlene! So for a week, the boys had their fun in Idaho, and Malia and I had a girls week in NYC! Although we all missed each other, we had a good time too!

| I LOVE going to Rockefeller Center! Malia loved watching the ice skaters on the Today show, and she REALLY loved seeing them in real life! We were also lucky that it was warm enough that they also had all the fountains on making it even more beautiful! |

| They always have great decorations all year round |

| The Temple... |
| We went from the temple to Central Park and Malia skated down to Columbus Circle to catch the train home |
| Running home. Hood up for speed... |
| Since we moved here, a Crepe cafe opened up across the street, so Malia and I decided to check it out for breakfast one morning. She's been wanting to go back but I'm pretty sure that Clint makes WAY better hot chocolate and it doesn't cost $5/mug. |
| Delicious Nutella Crepe, although I think I could have bough more Nutella at Costco for way cheaper! |
| Our friends the Meldrums moved to Texas in April. Before they left we went to Central Park and rented some row boats. It was so much fun! And cheap! $12/hour/boat. |

| Although it was still wintery...the pond was still beautiful! |
| We were really surprised at how peaceful and serene it was while on the pond. You could see all of the buildings surrounding the park, but didn't hear all of the city noise. |
| After our adventure, we went to Stand4 for burgers and shakes. They are closed now, so I'm glad we got to try this delicious S'mores Shake before they closed their doors! |

 Saying goodbye...
| In previous posts, I've talked about Malia's scooter, and how all the kids here use these as one of their main modes of transportation. Well Owen started getting scooter envy so we started searching ebay and were so happy when we found this one for a great price! Its a little beat up, but great for Owen to start learning! |
