  • Global & Online: CodeRush is open to participants worldwide.
  • Age Requirement: You must be 13 years or older to participate. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
  • Team Size: You may work solo or in teams of up to 4 members.
  • One Team Only: Participants may not be part of multiple teams.
  • Organizers & Sponsors: Employees or affiliates of the organizing team or sponsors may participate for fun but are not eligible for prizes.
  • No Purchase Necessary: Participation is 100% free and does not require any purchase.

 

πŸ› οΈ Project and Submission Requirements

To qualify for judging, your project submission on Devpost must include:

1. A Functional Project

  • Must be created during the hackathon period (September 1–7, 2025).
  • You can build anything β€” a web app, mobile app, AI model, game, etc.
  • Pre-existing projects are not allowed unless significantly modified during the event.

 

2. Project Description

  • Explain the problem your project solves
  • Outline key features and how it works
  • List the technologies used

 

3. Demo Video (2–5 minutes)

  • Must show your project in action
  • Hosted on a public platform like YouTube or Vimeo
  • Should be clear and concise, explaining your solution

 

4. Public Code Repository

  • Provide a link to a GitHub/GitLab/etc. repo
  • Include a README with setup instructions

 

5. Submission Deadline

  • All submissions must be made via Devpost by
    September 7, 2025, 11:59 PM UTC
