29 weeks, 2 days and all is well.
Sorry I haven't posted in awhile - I haven't really had any news to share. Tiffany - thanks for checking on me! :)
I saw my endocrinologist yesterday and I've gained a total of 25 lbs. Not too shabby considering. I expect to gain another 10 lbs in the 3rd trimester so I'm OK with that.
I saw my regular OB this morning. I think those appointments are more a courtesy than anything. They don't do much these days. Urine sample, check heart beats and I'm outta there. I see my perinatalogist next week so we'll see if there's been any change to the previa. I still haven't had any symptoms (bleeding) from it so I'm taking that as a good sign that things are still OK "down there".
We are just about done with all of our preparation work. The nursery is together, we put extra shelving in the unfinished portion of our basement to store extra diapers and other bulk items. I got tired of looking at the Pack 'n Play box last night so I put that together.
Much more than I bargained for. I pride myself on being quite handy around the house and usually have no problems putting stuff together. But, the instructions that came with this thing SUCKED!
Some pages only had pictures, other pages had pictures and words. And, then I got to one page that had pictures and only words in Spanish! What the....?
After about an hour, I finally got the damn thing together.
This weekend, I'm hoping to get the car seats installed. I called our local fire department and they have 2 people who are certified to install them. It's still a little early but you just never know. I'd rather have them in place and not have to worry about it. I have also started thinking about my overnight bag for the hospital. Someone asked me the other day if I had started packing and I thought, "Oh shit. Should I"? Maybe in another 2 weeks or so but I probably need to start thinking about things I can wear while I'm in there.
That's it for now!

Just wear the hospital gown. TRUST ME. Don't listen to these people on message boards who have special things to wear in the hospital. You will be happy that someone else has laundry to do and not you. Just wear the same thing home that you wore to the hospital. Take some slippers and a robe. Don't even take panties - they will be ruined.
Good luck! Glad everything is going ok.
glad to hear all is well!!
i need to start my hospital bag sometime in the next few weeks. thanks for the reminder!
Sorry for the long absence :o(.
I see things are progressing nicely-- that's great!
Hope the previa makes some changes in the positive direction.
Even if you haven't packed yet, at least make a list of what you think you might need. Think this should probably make it much easier in case you needed to pack in a hurry.
Wishing you tons of best wishes as the babies begin to 'fatten up' in preparation for their grand entrance.
All the best,
Anna
