🗓️ Dates & Timeline

  • Submission Deadline: Tuesday, December 23rd at 11:45 PM EST.

  • Judging & Presentation Period: Following the deadline, we will take 1-2 weeks to review all projects. Selected teams will be invited on Discord to present their projects to the judges one-by-one.

  • Winners Announced: Winners will be announced on Discord after the judging period concludes (approx. early-January).

🤝 Eligibility

  • Global Access: Open to everyone, everywhere. No university affiliation required.

  • Team Size: 1 - 4 members. (Solo participants are welcome, but diverse teams with a Designer + Engineer mix are encouraged).

  • Age: Must be 13+ (or legal age in your jurisdiction).

🏆 Prizes ($150 Pool)

  • 🥇 1st Place: $75 + Office Hours with YC Founders + Golden Ticket to Global Hackathon.

  • 🥈 2nd Place: $50 + Office Hours with YC Founders.

  • 🥉 3rd Place: $25.

⚖️ Judging Criteria

Your ideas will be evaluated by the RunAnywhere engineering team based on:

1. Technical Feasibility (40%)

  • Does the architecture make sense?

  • Is the chosen model (SLM) realistic for a mobile device? (Proposing a 70B model on a phone = 0 points).

2. Privacy & "Edge" Utility (30%)

  • Does this idea actually benefit from being offline?

  • Is the "Privacy-First" angle compelling?

3. Innovation & Vision (30%)

  • Is this a fresh idea, or just a ChatGPT wrapper?

  • Did the team identify a unique use case for the "On-Device" revolution?

📜 Intellectual Property

  • You own 100% of your idea and IP. We just want to see what you build!

  • By submitting, you grant us the right to showcase your idea on our community channels (with credit).
