The Concert was awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gwen Stefani is one hell of an entertainer!
Ok lets start from the beginning..
The con starts at 8.30pm (aka 9.00pm)..
We could've gotten there on time...
But due to unreliable signboards in Malaysia..
Terlepas exit to Bukit Jalil.. so had to pusing so far..
Shouldn't have happened, coz I've been to BJ sooooo many times!
Arghhh felt so stupid!

By the time we were there...
Gwen was singing Sweet Escape (first song on setlist) half way through already..
So we raaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn like crazyyyy
and managed to get to our seats before the song ended..
Man they were good seats.. albeit being at the highest tier..
But we had the most front seats, and were quite close to the stage..
Can see Gwen very clearly.. and the screen was right smack in front of our faces...
So it was all goood!

The whole indoor stadium was freakin full!! Probably around 8000++ ppl..
At first everyone around us were sitting down..
I was itching to stand up!
Last2 tak tahan.. after 3 or 4 songs.. aku berdiri je! and those behind us had to stand up to lahhh coz we were blocking their view..
Cmon laa.. how can u sit? Unless it was a Norah Jonah's concert.
Highlight of the whole concert (for me) was masa Hollaback Girl..
I was screaming and singing my lungs out... literally...
It was mad!

Gwen was saying how we were like the loudest audiences ever!
Hell yeah!! She was very grateful at that and was thanking us continuously throughout.
She talked alot.. i like. Interaction is always good.
Told us about how her stepmother-in-law is a Malaysian..
Imagine her stepmother saying "My daughter in-law is Gwen Stefani"..
hahahahhaha
I managed to katam her setlist (dapat kat Wiki je)..
Takde la hafal everything but at least I was able to identify all the songs
and sing along masa chorus..
But no concert has ever made me lose my voice except Incubus'..
I sang every single word of every freakin song for 2 hrs..

So anyway.. moving on..
In the middle of the con, she rann to the back to a mini stage at the end of the floor..
So the ppl sitting on the lower tier at the far end of the stadium literally had Gwen singing 10 inches from them!
Gwen is mad, she didn't even sing on the mini stage, but ran left and right on some folded chairs that have been pushed in to make the floor bigger!
The guitarist and keyboardist were following her left and right.
hahaha it was a funny sight

Eventhough the con did not have an elaborate stage set and gimmicks at all (think Britney's and Christina's and JT's cons), it was soooo fun coz Gwen was soooo freakin energetic and all..
It lasted only 1 and half hrs though.. tak puasssss...
I was really waiting for U Started It but she didn't sing that song..
Well on Wiki they did mention that song maybe main maybe tak main..
Unfortunately, tak main.. man!! so sad.

I only knew about the con nearly being canceled until after the show..
Stupid laa.. as if if the show was canceled "golongan remaja" kita takkan rosak akhlak..
Treating us like stupid and immature kids who doesn't know anything..
Plus, she did abide the restrictions in covering up...
Nanti lepas ni Beyonce nak datang 1st November.. can u imagine Beyonce wearing decent clothes during her concert???
Gawd its soooo wrong! Against pop-culture's nature if u will!
And her con wont be as great..
I can imagine how gempak Beyonce's con will be, even though aku tak minat dia pun..
but i might still go lah.. hehehhh. rugi doooo tak pi..
ok2 can talk about Miss JayZ later.

The sound system wasn't that great, not to my liking anyway..
But it wasn't bad laa.. so-so.. yeah i'm quite particular about what i hear.
Bass wasnt loud enough.. to trebly (hahahaa no such word, but if u get what i mean, vgood)
But the music was awesome!
Very goood musicians who were also backup singers..
The drummer so very the gempak!!
but not as gempak as Godsmack's drummer (they were the opening act for the second Metallica concert i went-not Sanitarium tour).

Oh and since Gwen is obsessed with Japan and Harajuku Girls and whatnot..
Her female dancers were Japanese!
Well, they looked Japanese when cameras went close-up on their faces..
And she confirmed it later on during the show.
I knew some of my frens also attended the con..
Then, after the con, accidentally met all of them! well, nearly all of them..
First saw Deera and Sara...
Then Alip.. Enol.. Biyot..
Then Wann..
good enough..

Tel, aku dengar kau pi gak and got like really great seats???

All in all.. it was worth every single RM i paid.

By the time i reached home, it was 12.30am, after sending Eejay and my cousins home.
Next day (yesterday), went to A Famosa in Malacca for a 2-day course..
Nasib baik last minute my friend got permission to go so he drove..
Then came back today (course finished by lunch time) and terus kena kerja shift petang 3-10pm
Now I'm home.. so glad to be home coz I miss my cats!!!
(side note: I am in love with them lol)
tmrw can wake up late coz shift petang again yeay!
Weekend ni is F1 weekend so looking forward to it!

The only thing that hampered my day (a little) was the news that immediate boss that i like very very much will be transferred elsewhere in a weeks' time
Damn, so sad, he's like the most awesome boss ever..
Oh well, i'm happy for him i guess. he has to move on.. in want of for better pay! hahahahha
I hope he comes back to my dept and becomes Chief Enginner next time (right now Deputy)
Ok2 uninteresting work stories must stop right here.

Now i have nothing to look forward to in the immediate future..
Just a couple of weddings and a futsal+bowling weekend with some ppl from work..
Probably should take a break and rest and hit the gym that i've neglected for a while..
Unless anyone wants to ajak me go karok.. weekend 1st Sept aku free!

Finally, it's the first day of my well-deserved 3-day rest after a mad week.
I'm crashing at Eejay's, came here right after yesterday's events.

So it was the alumni dinner smalam.. at Sheraton Subang.
It was so much better than last year's.. enjoyed more this time round.
Got free seats with great company<-that's why.
Apparently, TNB sponsored one table and they need to fill up the table so Lana, Eejay and I got the seats, and table paling mahal tuu.. luckyyyy..
And 2 people didn't make it so ajak Dy duduk sekali.
So yeah, great company!
Food wasn't that great. Biasa je. No comment.

The theme was Diamonds are Forever..
in conjunction with our 60th Anniversary.. Diamond Jubilee
Mmg bling bling lahhhh semua org.. except me hahahhah.
The performances were by old girls and current students.
One of them was by Form 1 and 2 girls..
omg they're sooo small and cute..
it's hard to imagine we were all small and cute once upon a time ago, muaahahhahaha.
Tapi diorang cam junior la.. duduk senyap kat tepi, tak huuhaaa cam old girls lain yg cam gila..
Ikut cakap.. hahaahaahha i forgot juniors were like this.
oh well..
Then there's this Form 3 girl, she sang last year as well..
Man.. minah ni nye suara... mmg pawe!!!!!!!!!
Apparently, she's used to getting invitations to sing at palaces and stuffs u know..
Now her voice belum mature lagi, but when it does.. she's gonna be so awesome..
And then there were 2 violinists, dua2 Form 1..
Cool gak aa..
These kids are very talented lah..

After dessert, we went back to start changing into our dancing costumes
Meanwhile they were honoring some old girls for outstanding achievements and contributions and stuff like that..
for eg Dato Seri Shahrizat Jalil, Datuk Rafiah Salim (Dora's mom).. and a few more..
gempak jugak la these other ppl but i don't remember their names heheh..
Then there was a video presentations where all the big shots old girls like Shahrizat Jalil, Dr Mazlan Othman, Datin Fauzah, Datin Rosmah (Najib's wife) who talked about zaman2 skolah dulu lah..
supposed to be nostalgic laa but i didn't really feel it.
The only other big shot (that i know) yg takde in that clip was probably Marina Mahathir..
The "host" was Kak Ruby Ahmad.

Oh nearly forgot, the guests of honor were Sultan Selangor, Raja Nazrin and his wife (Zara). Hmm actually there's actually another member of the royal family..
Sultan Mizan's stepmother.. anybody remember her name?
I don't, have to ask Eejay again later.
It seems that Raja Nazrin is actually our patron.. i didn't even know that.
He came last year too, tapi last year single lagi heheh.
Omg Zara is sooooo cantik i couldn't take my eyes of her LOL.
Oh this year Najib and Rosmah tak datang..
and this year's Emcee was Mahathir Lokman, best lah dia.

So moving on, after the multimedia presentation,
baru lah start our performances,
it was 11.30 pm dah masa tu.. gila.
so first dance was Sway (guna lagu Pussy Cat Dolls),
second the form 1&2 kids-Roman Holiday, third was ours-Miller Magic.
Masa atas stage tu aku dok tgk Raja Nazrin and Zara je.. hahahhah..
meja diorang betul2 depan stage doh..
Fourth performance was Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend.

After that, nyanyi lagu college ramai2 (best plak!!),
lepas tu around tunggu guests of honor to leave,
i was outside the ballroom then the Sultan came to salam us..
Raja Nazrin is sooooooooooooo tall..
then after the Royal Highnesses dah blah...
as usual lah.. open dance floor!!
dayumnnnnnnnnnn these old girls really know how to work it.
And while these ladies were dancing, the husbands either duduk kat meja or lepaking outside hahahahahh
But there were some sporting husbands who danced with their wives... so sweet~
With Mahathir Lokman giving us "dancing lessons" on stage (he really knows how to dance)
great live music (I think it was a band from RTM, they were reallllyyy goood),
semua lagu diorang main from salsa to chacha to zapin to bailamos and the whole works!!
Yang takde lagu Justin timberlake and akon and britney and aguilera (u get my drift hahah).
ok i guess next time when batch2 zaman aku lak yg handle alumni dinners ni,
we'll pasang OUR kind of songs pulak heheheh. .
actually, mahathir lokman made it all the more fun really.
he was so sporting last night.
I remember last year's "joget lambak",
Najib and Raja Nazrin pun stayed back and menari hahahhh.. t
his year cannot laa right, hehehh
Lana couldn't dance cause she's like 36 months pregnant and can meletup anytime lol.
hehehe takpe Lana next year ok!

Ada la jugak a few faces from my time that came yesterday.
And also met my CS kecik..
man, she came to cari me before she went back
That's very sweet of her.
I still feel guilty for lecturing her in front of the whole dining hall dulu..
I kept thinking about it the whole time we were talking, hehh.

Oh well, all in all, it was fun fun fun.
Now I just want to lepak and jam and later sleep again.

Tuesday night Gwen, Wed morning go to Melaka for a 2-day course, and start work on Friday.
not too bad la kot lepas ni.

It has been a very hectic week, and will continue till next week.
One of my colleagues cuti kawin, and another patah kaki.
So we're effectively doing a 24-hr operation round the clock with only 3 ppl!
What with the management is being a bitch, even more so nowadays.
I'm one disgruntled and unhappy employee at the mo.
Furthermore, the alumni dinner thingy is this Saturday,
and the full dress rehearsal is this Friday, so practices have been ongoing full swing during weekdays malam.
To add to the craziness, I'll be working night shift on Thursday and Friday night.
I'm very very grumpy due to lack of sleep and rest.
I'm physically and mentally fatigued to the core of my bones.
To top it all up, Gwen's concert is next week, which is probably the perfect culmination of my week. Really looking forward to it.

Oohhh nearly forgot.
Last Thursday Eejay invited me to go watch a gig at Laundry, The Curve.
The show was called the Moonshine.
Reza Salleh was performing, whoever this guy was (so I thought at the time).
And later when I was there, apparently Mia Palencia was also performing.
I was like, hell yeah! I know her!
Remember the Filipino-Malaysian lady I was talking about before?
So I was excited.
Man she was so freakin awesome, and it was better this time round coz it wasn't acoustic.
The small girl with the short curly hair was also there to play the lead guitar.
She's so cool.
Reza Salleh pun best gak.
He looks sooo much like Asrif (u reading this dude?! hehehh).
And Eejay said he looked like Pierre Andre.
And Asrif looks like Pierre Andre (hehehehhe). So it all fits in eyy?
Gaya dia main guitar cam Asrif campur Ali hahahh.
The bass guitarist was a lady named Melinda, she was awesome jugak.
We were sitting right in front of the stage, slightly higher like on a platform, had a full and clear view of the whole thing!
All in all it was an awesome night.

The Book has arrived! gonna pick it up from Eejay's office tmrw yeah yeah yeahhhhhhh! i foresee 6 hours of lying on the bed, tak makan tak tgk tv tak pi toilet.. hahahh

I probably spoke too soon.. tadi futsal practice was fun.. i enjoyed it.. we look on form, tapi takde la cam gempak gila kan.. but it was okay.. so i'm satisfied.. i hope we could at least secure 3rd place (since i heard ada 7 girl teams je yg register). One of my frens buat lawak.. apsal team kita takde pengkid? hahahaha.. that was funny... if u don't think its funny.. u suckkk... hehehh

i'm currently watching Tokyo Tower.. the drama... had it for a few weeks already but no time to watch... aku nak tgk sbb ada Hayami Mokomichi.. tapi tak best ahh dia dalam citer ni.. rambut dia buruk... tapi nasib baik ada Hiraoka Yuuta! i didn't realize he was in this jdrama.. first saw him in Tatta Hitotsu No Koi... thanks Muna for downloading for me!!

p/s: Apparently Gwen Stefani lahir 1969.. aku tgk kat wiki smalam.. damn.. she's nearly 40!! hard to believe..
