Functioning App: Projects should aim to be fully functioning, providing a tangible solution or prototype that addresses the outlined challenge.

Specific Tools: While there are no specific requirements regarding the use of APIs, or datasets, participants are encouraged to utilize whatever relevant tools and resources needed to enhance the functionality and effectiveness of their projects.

Topic / Categories: Projects should align with the overarching theme of benefiting students. However, within this theme, participants have the freedom to explore various categories such as educational tools, productivity apps, or platforms for student engagement. Projects may address specific challenges or focus areas identified by the participants, but creativity and innovation are highly encouraged.

Platform: Projects should be made easily accesible for students on a chromebook, laptop, desktop etc.

New vs. Existing: While new projects specifically developed for the competition are encouraged, existing projects are also eligible for submission provided they meet the criteria outlined in the rules. Existing projects may be modified or extended with new functionalities to align with the hackathon's theme.
