Welcome to Darklang-next!
If you're here about something related to the "classic" version of Darklang (currently live), please head over to that repo.
If you're not familiar with the Darklang-next, please read this blog post.
Here are the current focuses of the team:
- Project: Release Minimal CLI + Editor #5247
- solidify our CLI Runtime
- improve our editor and language server, getting it to a point good enough for local/CLI dev
- iterate on our package manager
- Migrate our work-organization from Notion to GitHub, and make each Issue pretty clear
- Catch up on a lot of documentation, READMEs, etc, generally, in order to provide a reasonable on-ramp to contribution
That said, the most accessible work to 'external' folks, at this point, is probably outside of that scope, because it's moving so quickly.
The best thing to do would be to:
- join the DIscord
- read CONTRIBUTING.md
- review any issues with the ready-for-contribs label
- if there are any needs-review issues you'd like to work on, let us know and we'll prioritize tidying them up
- ask if we need any testing done!
- generally, provide feedback
