Folder markers not as documented

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes/No

• VS Code Version: 1.99.1
• OS Version: vscode.dev

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Documentation states that //#region will result in enlarged text in the minimap https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/getstarted/userinterface#_minimap
2. However, it doesn't work on https://vscode.dev right now, see screenshot
3. I used //#region Test A, but it is not enlarged and not foldable
4. I propose that the fix should also allow // #region

It looks like there is a slightly different syntax for PHP:

1. So the discrepancy between doc and code is not a bug?
2. Auto formatters will put a space after //, so //regionc X is not going to survive them

PR welcome. If you want to improve the wording in documentation to clarify the syntax varies across languages, the repo is at https://github.com/microsoft/vscode-docs cc @ntrogh . If you want to improve the regex for PHP, then PR welcome too. I'm not sure who owns the regex but your explanation about the formatters make sense to me, so the regex should maybe be tweaked.

@ntrogh thanks, I realized the issue now, I did not provide this URL https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/editing/codebasics#_folding which stated that PHP needs #region and #endregion

Is it ok to make this foldable for PHP as well? This survives the default config of https://github.com/laravel/pint

Adding @roblourens who added folding marker for PHP several years ago. Can the folding regex be expanded to make it work better with formatters?
