Describe the Bug

When trying to enable 'Recognize' I get the following error message, which pops up in nextcloud in orange

An error occurred during the request. Unable to proceed.
An exception occurred while executing a query: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'LONGTEXT NOT NULL, cluster_id BIGINT DEFAULT NULL, threshold DOUBLE PRECISION...' at line 1

Expected Behavior

No Error message, just enabling the app

Apps > Disabled Apps > clicking on 'Enable' for Recognize

You're likely using an unsupported version of MariaDB: #1248

I have the same problem because I am using MariaDB 11.7.2, client 15.2, which is not supported. However, eventually, it will be the next supported version of MariaDB.

I've opened a ticket on the server repo so someone from the server team can have a look at this. See nextcloud/server#51596

I did a bit of investigation on this issue, and the reason why it's causing this issue is that since version 11.7, VECTOR is a reserved word. However, the FaceDetection class has an attribute called vector, thus trying to create columns with that name in the database.
