Sync not working in 0.15.1 or 0.16 nightly, but works in 0.14.4

What happened?

As mentioned in #4404 Sync does not work. A user mentioned downgrading fixed the issue, I tried it and it also fixed the issue for me. #4404 (comment)

To Reproduce Bug

Set up sync, set up proper groups, ensure wireless isolation off, turn on sync. If using 0.15.1 or higher, sync will not work. Simply downgrade firmware to 0.14.4 and Sync will begin to work without altering any settings.

Expected Behavior

Sync should work in 0.15.1 or higher as it does in 0.14.4
