Food Snatcher

Parker is constantly feeding Russell off his plate. It has gotten so bad, that Russell now whines at P's high chair instead of his food bowl. A part of me thinks it is precious... the other part is super annoyed. I'll just let my boys go for now, I'll figure it out later.

Fall Day

It had been a while since I had outside play time with Parker. It is so different playing with him now! He is crawling all over the place, standing up next to everything, eating leaves and grass, and trying so hard to get Russell to play with him. He is becoming such a little boy and not a baby anymore!!

This is his big boy crawl. The army crawl is long gone. Sometimes he doesn't even use his knees, and crawls with his booty up in the air.

And he's off!

He likes to laugh.

It is hard to believe that my little guy is 9 months old.

Maybe I can lure Russell over here with kisses and a leaf....

Play Date

Parker had a play date with a few people that his Grandma works with. He was excited to see his girlfriend Morgan! I don't really have a long story about this... I just think the pictures are super cute.

He has already mastered the "yawn-turn-into-the-hold" move.

The Great Pumpkin

Pumpkin Parker! We got a couple pictures of Parker in his costume about a week before Halloween. Here he is in his pumpkin patch.

I was really afraid this outfit wouldn't fit. I bought it last year on clearance for $1, and it is a size 6-9 month. Lets be honest here... P does not have a size 6-9 month head. But he was a trooper and tolerated me squeezing his head into it for a few pictures.

Sad Goodbye

We are back after saying goodbye to Ken's step mom, Anne. Anne passed away on the 27th after being involved in a car accident. I don't have the words to describe how amazing Anne was, and what it meant to have her be a part of our family. Her and Don kept us sane the week we brought Parker home, cooking for us, doing laundry, and painting rooms that we never finished (yes... painting.... I told you she was amazing!) She loved her little grandbabies more than anything in the world. We have been finding little things everyday that have made us think about her. I just hope we can pass on to Parker how much his Grandma Harrison loved him, and what a truly incredible person she was.


Anne bought Don a dump truck for his 60th birthday in August. Turns out that babies love dump trucks just as much as a 60 year old!
