"The breadstick store"
It was one of those Mondays... driving home from work/daycare, no dinner plans, too tired to cook anything, just a car full of grouchy. As we drove thru Broadripple, we noticed 3 Wise Men had a sign that said "Kids eat free Monday". Ken screeched the tires as he pulled into the parking lot :)
Not only did kids eat free, but they also got dough to play with! The entire day was saved!! Parker now refers to it as "the breadstick store" every time we drive thru Broadripple.

Beach
For our family fun adventure this week, we headed to the beach. Ken got off work at 4, we fed the kids, and headed north.... to Fishers. Seriously... Fishers has a beach! It was so much fun! It was the kids first trip to any kind of beach. Parker could not get over the concept that sand was under the water. He kept going out as far as he could and reaching into the water picking up handfuls of sand. Miles was a wild man and kept trying to crawl right into the water.

More Ice Painting
(Trust me, we know socks and sandals are hideous. Parker insisted, and it was not a toddler battle I was willing to fight)
CLICK HERE to see Parker's first attempt at ice painting when he was 1 1/2.
Pool Days
The Tiny Tot was unstoppable. He had absolutely no fear going into the water.
I don't know when Parker got so old. He is starting to look like such a big kid.

Family Museum Day
Ken and I have promised to have at least one family fun day a week. It can be big or small, but it has to include all 4 of us, and it has to be fun :) This week was the museum. It is super "boy" themed right now with lego land and a hot wheels exhibit.
I am SOOO not looking forward to this in 13 years.
There are hundreds of hot wheels to play with in the exhibit. I think Parker would have stayed here all day.
Miles is a terrible back seat driver....
Time for Legos!
I think this was the point I made a 3 year old cry (that wasn't mine). I took apart a tractor that he was playing with 30 minutes ago. He saw us at the table and lost his marbles. Ahhh, the life of a toddler.
And then the boys took an airplane home from Egypt.
Family Pool Time
Have we mentioned lately that we love the JCC? Well we do.
Miles kept laughing and trying to throw himself into the water. This was him cracking up just before he lunged.... He has no fear.

Standing
Miles has started standing alone right at 10 months. This was the first picture we actually got of him doing it (excuse the crappy cell phone picture)

While we were away....
Having a giant branch fall in your yard sucks.
Having that giant branch also fall on the power line that runs directly into your house, which tears a hole in your roof... sucks a little harder.
