We took the kids to the Bass Pro Shop again this year to see Santa. Campbell has been telling us for weeks that he is NOT going to sit in Santa's lap. He told us that he would STAND UP next to Santa, which was fine with us! We talked about seeing Santa all week long and when the day finally arrived, Campbell still said he would stand up next to Santa. There were only three families in front of us and we watched as other people stood by Santa. Campbell continued to claim that he would stand by the big guy until it was our turn. Then he planted his feet firmly on the ground and would not move! We eventually picked him up, set him on Santa's lap, and ran! We had to snap a picture before we rescued him!
