23rd Birthday.
Wednesday, October 01, 2014
Hello. I'm here to document my 23rd birthday. It started with mummy coming down to KL a little earlier to celebrate with me. We had ribs! It was a good fulfilling dinner. Meat is the way to go!
And then, there was a lunch buffet with boyfie's family as his birthday was earlier than mine. His mum celebrated mine together too. Aww ^^
And then, there was dinner with the girls on a public holiday. Didn't know it was a birthday dinner until they told me not to pay for it. :D that particular day was a bad one, so the girls (plus Jacky heeh) really made my day.
Of course, cg celebrated with me too. Love the presents! Haha :D (Jill had inside source!)
And then, there was the birthday day itself where boyfie and I stayed at Aloft Sentral because I won a free stay there from a lucky draw in church. The hotel was pretty and I liked the interior design and the whole feel of it. No bathtub in their Loft Room though :(
Followed by dinner in Black Market at St Mary Place. Dinner was good, the ambiance was nice but the company was the best. Heeh.
Of course, there was a party where I got pretty high and everyone were sneakily happy about it. I had a really good time and I hope others did too. My last time getting this tipsy though, the effects are too terrible to go through again. Love and thanks to boyfie who took care of me the whole night.
And to finish off, my birthday dinner cooked by daddy! ^^ We had roast pork with apple sauce and Cammie baked alcoholic cupcakes (do I sense a theme here?) as my birthday cake. yum yum!
And this ends my birthday post. One year older, one year wiser? Haha. As I look back, there have been so much that I have gained and I look forward for more. A big happy thank you to everyone who wished me, who celebrated with me, who prayed for me, who loved me.
Here's to a great rest of the week. Two more days to a long weekend yea.
xoxo.

i guess the first to celebrate my birthday would be my mum who came down to KL. got a pretty bag and a few pairs of earrings for my birthday presents. heeeh.
Jill surprised me with a cake at 12am. hehe. ^^ and so coincidentally, it was the same cake that Mei Kei told me was delicious. haha. it even matches my birthday card. 고마워!
with CG in Kimchi Haru. the cake was delicious, so were the company! thank youuuuu *hearts*
celebrated with Chareessa and Mei Kei too but no pics. D:
and a one-month belated one with the boys.
all in all, i was very glad to be able to celebrate my 22nd with people i love. ah, here goes another year. i can only promise to continue doing my best and to strive to be the best person i could be. its gonna be another adventure. ^^
I don't know about you

Hatyai, Thailand.
Wednesday, August 14, 2013
Hatyai was a weekend trip with my mum a month ago. it was a tour thing and we took a bus up to Thailand. lots of aunties, karaoke singing and bulk shopping during the trip.
my mum with the tuk tuk, Thailand's version of taxi. quite fun to ride as its open; you get to feel the wind and see the cars and bikes zoom by.
of course, you don't go to Thailand and not watch the tiger(?) show. it was quite an experience. i envy their boobs. lol. and they have really nice bodies. well, they have to,of course.
Thailand also means lots of temple visiting. the weather was scorching but from one temple to another we went. in a day, i think we went to three temples. they were all real pretty but other than that, there wasn't much to see.
i was very glad when we went for dinner at a floating market. this one is not a real real one but its close. the food was good. ^^ the food i experienced in Hatyai was all good.
the only shopping we did was for food, lots of food. haha.
i guess this is it. i don't have much to write about Hatyai. idk, maybe i'm not used to the constraint of a tour group and we only had a weekend to go around and i think the aunties were just more interested in stocking up, so yea, not much to say.
gotta get back to work. have a good week ahead! it'll be tgif soon! keke.
God bless!
p.s. next post would be about Korea. ^^

Jakarta, Indonesia.

i am doing this instead of working, so shhhhhh. nobody can know! :D
feeling quite bad because i really did want to blog about all the trips but then, i started working and i can't do this when i'm at home as there's no internet there. thus, this sneaking about. D: so i'm gonna do this real quick.
Jakarta was hot, crowded and traveling takes hours. the traffic jams are crazy, like 2 hours stuck in the back of a car for a 30 minutes drive crazy. this is what i came back from Korea early for. sigh~ i know, i know, it was precious family time, so i shan't utter another word of complaint. this happened early July btw.
we were there for 5 days, i think. we got to visit some of the tourist spots because my uncle took a few days off to show us around. We went to a theme park in Ancol called Dunia Fantasi (Dufan), sat on two scary rides and walked around a bit. Ancol is a big place and it has several parks, kinda like Sentosa Island on land. it had a water theme park, a beach area, and other stuff. we only had time to enter the theme park though. Below was one of the scary rides.
we also watched this show thing that they had, the most exciting one would be the Chinese bikers in a metal ball. as seen below, my grandpa was pretty excited about the bike and you can see in the background is the giant metal cage. i think they had six or seven bikers in that cage. it was quite terrifying.

on another day, we headed to Taman Mini Indonesia where they showcase all the traditional houses from all their ethnic groups. really pretty houses with intricate designs and bright colors. heeh.
Taman Mini Indonesia is another big scale thing. its kinda like how they roll in Indonesia. they put everything into one ginormous park. they weren't only houses in Taman Mini Indonesia, there were different types of museums and i think there was a castle or some sort of fort. but apparently we brought rain with us and it rained nearly everyday that we were there. thus, making it difficult to wander about more.
on another another day, we went to Taman Merkasari which is essentially a fruit farm, a really large fruit farm. it was quite cool and we took a tour thing where they drove us on a tram around the farm to introduce the fruits to us. we got to take home free fruits and fruit juices too.
above is my uncle and his family. the cousins were real shy this time around and i guess i could have done my bit but i wasn't feeling up to it. when they were younger, it took one day for them to warm up to us but this time, it took them nearly four days to say hi to us and by then, we had to head back to Malaysia already. it was a wasted opportunity. i really want to have a closer relationship with them and not to mention, we have Kpop as common interest. hehe. must do better next time around.

what else is there? the shopping was indeed cheap, i got three pairs of shoes for RM10 each. lots of imitation stuff but i'm more into Korean style stuff, so i didn't buy much. there were some Korean styles here and there but pricey they were.
i've mentioned the terrible traffic jams right? another thing i realised were that the people there were creative in their ways to make money/survive. there were young kids running on the streets selling newspapers and they are not that much taller than the front of the car. its scary, its sad but if you look on the bright side, at least the people are actively doing something and not sitting around moaning and complaining. this is one thing to admire about them; their endurance, their tenacity, their strength.
i'm gonna end this here. got to have lunch and get back to work.
have a good week and i'll be back soon.
God bless!

폭풍속으로.
Monday, March 18, 2013
well, i figured that the previous post shouldn't be the first thing people see when they look over here. its a bit too depressing, no? so i thought i'd blog about the Seoul/Busan holiday that i had when my mum and sis came over for two weeks. and this happened about three weeks ago. i know, i know, its taken me a while this time.
the plan was to spend one week in Seoul and one week in Busan. the one week in Seoul was pretty hectic and i was tired out at the end of every day but it was all good of course. we visited some of the must-see tourist sites in Korea. one of them being the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
of course, we had to take picture with King Sejong on the Gwanghamun Square. everyone who visits Korea must do this. :D
actually, we didn't really get to visit the palace because by the time we reached, it was closing. it closes early during winter, okay! not because we woke up late and all. the next best thing was to take a picture in front of it. :P
being girls and Myeongdong being shopping haven for cosmetics and other girly stuff, Myeongdong was actually the first place we went to. other shopping havens that we took a walk around were Namdaemun and Dongdaemun. it was crazy because things were cheap and my mum bought a whole zoo of socks. but you can't blame her, they were adorable!
my sister and I being Kpop fans meant that we had to visit/see Kpop related stuff. we weren't really successful, maybe cus we didn't put a lot of effort into it and it wasn't really fair dragging our mum here and there to satisfy our Kpop craze. but i thought what we did manage to do pretty good, like taking pictures with Super Junior and getting a drink at Siwon's Twosome Cafe. heeh.
we went to Hongdae of course and also Insadong which was really cool. i wished we had more time. there was just so much to see and so many places that needed walking into. and i need to get myself into a club in Hongdae at least once.
this has got to be one of my favorite moment in Korea thus far. getting the chance to wear Hanboks and take cute pictures in the picture booth. so Korean! ^^ and we look so pretty!
what other places did we go? erm, we walked around Bukchon Hanok Village. it was really amazing walking around the traditional houses but we were kinda clueless about what we should do there. lol. we also went to the N Seoul Tower. it was cold but it was great. normally, couples go there to put on the love locks thing but i think for me, to put on a lock at the tower with my mum and sis means even more than having done it with a boyfriend. it meant so much more; the love between the three of us, my mum, my sis and I is so much more than all the guys who did and will walk in and out of our lives.
and i almost forgot! Lotte World. we spent a whole evening in Lotte World. it was fun although we didn't get to go on a lot of rides because of the really really long queue on all of them.
am i missing anything else? yea, i think this was pretty much Seoul for that one week. i'm most probably not gonna blog about the Busan trip because it was a quiet week and i'm sure my sister will do it and also because i live in Busan. heh. i'm very glad that they came to see me and to visit Korea. we hadn't been on a holiday together for a long long time and this time together made me realize how important family is and how much i love them. hearts.
this post isn't much but there's a lot of readjusting to do regarding my recent situation. so i hope you guys understand if i'm not here often.
goodnight and God bless!
