BRIDGE - Cafe, Restaurant, Bar
We visited Bridge cafe located at 31 Seah St.
It is just 2 shops away from the Mint toys museum so it was easily located. We reached around 2.30pm not knowing that lunch ends at 2pm, but they were kind enough to still serve us! I manage to order the Cabonara ($14) from the lunch menu. I seldom have pastas when i visit cafes but this definitely didn't let me down. The bacon bits was crunchy with some mushrooms and the sauce wasn't too creamy, was just right!

Overeasy // Saturdate
TGIF! A date with my girls and bf to Overeasy @ One Fullerton :-) Just some snacks and drinks there, a very nice place to chill. The bill came up to around $140 for the food listed + 5 drinks. Not very cheap but I really love the food there!
Doughnuts with chocolate sauce (some people named it as Churros), Truffle fries, Mac & cheese.

Chin Mee Chin Confectionery
Chin Mee Chin Confectionery was around 15 minutes walk away from Champion Hotel(where we were staying overnight at) located at 204 East Coast Road.
It is just a simple old school breakfast stop with toast bread, coffee and puffs, tarts...
We arrived at around 10am on a friday morning, they only have approximately 10 tables inside and we waited for almost 40 minutes to be seated. Then we realize even the drinks takes some time to be served too despite there isn't really a lot of people :-(
Everything was ordered separately, they do not have any sets. Initially we thought eggs comes in pairs so we ordered 3 but ended up we were served only 3 eggs hahaha and the toasted bread too. The kaya butter toast was really good. They have egg tarts there too but i felt it wasn't that good compared to other stalls.
But still it was worth going for a try :-)

Sinpopo brand
Looking for cafes around Joo chiat as we're having a staycation around that area, made a reservation at Sinpopo brand located at 458 Joo chiat road. Actually no reservations is required if you're there on weekdays thou, but would be recommended to make a reservation if you're going on a weekend.
The service was overwhelming. The waitress came forward to pass us the menu and introduce us the recommended drinks and dishes :-) Initially we settled with a few starters then we were told that the Nasi lemak set for 2 that we ordered already consist of them (Sambal fishballs, roasted potatoes, luncheon crisps). Hence we changed it to the crab wantons ($8) and babi toast ($7).
We ordered the Sinpopo beef shortrib horfun too, it was served with crispy horfun rather than the normal kind. ($16)
Nasi Lemak for 2 pax ($25). The sides were the sambal chilli, rojak, sambal fishballs, roasted potatoes in curry, luncheon crisps, har jeong kai wings and chicken. Best of all, the rice was refillable for free.

Planning to have some smoke salmon indulge so we walked around Tanjong pagar area. After a long search we decided to settle at Department of caffeine (15 Duxton road). The entrance wasn't really obvious enough hahaha so you just have to be more observant.
Of course i settled something with smoked salmon and even ordered additional portion. Ah so nice. One of the best smoke salmon too!

SPRMRKT
Needed some truffle fries indulge so badly and SPRMRKT, 2 McCallum Street, (near tanjong pagar mrt) happens to be near. I swear their truffle fries ($12) stood out from all the other truffle fries i've tried before. Mainly most of them are just sprinkled with truffle oil. At sprmrkt, their truffle fries was with kelp and parmesan! Yumzz. We randomly ordered their fried chicken wings($9) too, it tasted good just that after a few it actually tasted abit salty, and i started telling K i felt like im eating chicken wings dipped in tomyum msg hahaha but afterall it wasn't that bad.
Can't wait to go back and try other dishes they have!

Flock Cafe
Met K after work and we decided to head to Tiong bahru, 78 Moh Guan Terrace, #01-25, Flock cafe. Walked a distance from the MRT station and it even drizzled halfway...... Was glad that the smoke salmon made it all worth it thou. Hahah.
We only ordered the Cheeky eggs (poached egg, braised pork cheek, english muffin) $16.90, as K said he wasn't very hungry and i am a small eater too. Haha. I didnt order the Egg sally as i wanted more smoked salmon so i decided to order their sides smoked salmon portion. Poached egg was good, smoked salmon was good. Worthy trip hehe.
We decided to look for a cafe that sells truffle fries after that just to fill that space left in our tummy.... Read it over here! SPRMRKT

Milk & Honey
Was searching if there was any cafes nearby bukit batok after Shannon attended her sunday school nearby. I was surprised to read upon Milk & Honey outlet at Home team ns? I didn't know that they actually open a few eateries inside Cdans recently. It's rare to find cafes like this in the west... haha!
Bukit Batok HomeTeamNS
2 Bukit Batok West Ave 7
#01-01
#01-01

We settled with Sticky date pudding($7.50) and Strawberry mile($7.50). Sticky date pudding taste sort of like lava cake as it was served warm. Would prefer that over the strawberry mile. The vanilla ice-cream really goes well with it! The strawberry sorbet tasted abit sourish thou, not really to our liking. The creme wasn't that yumz too thou.

Revelry Cafe
Lesson ended early so its another cafe hopping day! Wanted to go to carpenter and cook but sadly it was closed on mondays.... So, we googled and found this..
Revelry is located at #01-02, Sun Court, 21 Lorong Kilat. Just around bukit timah beauty world area.
The main menu actually revolves around waffles. So if you're bored of the normal waffle ice-cream, try their brunch + Belgian waffles
Poached eggs with smoked salmon + waffles. Thumbs up! ($17.50)
The rest of the dishes we ordered. The truffles fries was good! And didnt expect waffles to go so well with everything.

Day 4
You wouldnt believe that Sis actually miss planning one day of itinerary and we thought we were leaving for Taichung today. Hahaha. So its a 'free' day. We decided to just roam around, we headed to Taipei 101.
We wanted to head to the starbucks on the 35th floor but we were told that reservation was needed. Disappointing....

So we decided to head to the AgnesB cafe located at Basement of taipei101.....
Guess what, their coffee machine was down and we have to wait for 30 minutes.... But i guess it was worth the wait. Everything was nice :-) The bear cake was delicious.

Cuddles cat cafe
Cuddles cat cafe is located at scape level 3!
I think it's really worth it to just spend some time with the kitties there during your free time. Can't wait to visit other cat cafes!!!
I've always been wanting to visit a cat cafe ever since i chance upon one in taiwan. And finally, today!
The fee for an hour is $12. It is not inclusive of any food or beverage. I did not dine inside so im unable to give any feedback, but try it! We were told that a lot of people patron for the food too :-)
We were told that the best timing to visit would be around 11am. They will start napping around 1pm thou, and will be active again at around 6pm. They usually sleeps more during the weekends as there would be more visitors and their sleep get disturb often, so more tired hahaha
Check out all the super adorable kittiesssss.

I AM cafe
I AM cafe is located at 674 North Bridge Road, it's actually at the stretch of Haji lane.
I swear i wasn't there for their rainbow cakes at first, hahaha i didn't even know they had this huge ass rainbow cake. I was like WOW when i saw it...... So pretty... xo
Okay back to food first. We ordered hot wings and cheezy bombs for starters. I like them both, i feel that it's worth the try!
Garlic butter prawn. It's nice but i think it's over priced for just 6 pieces of prawns. ($10.90+)
And to the main course!
Lastly, THE ATTRACTIVE RAINBOW CAKE ($8.90). Okay it's not super yummy but the colors makes it nice thou. It taste like normal sponge cake with colorings added hahaha. But the colors makes people happy eating it, dont you agree??? Anyway it's really a huge slice.

(working title)
K brought me to (working title) for brunch. It's located at 48 Arab Street, (nearest MRT bugis)
I really like how the interior is. Old school, vintage.... Just that feel.
We were there around 2pm so we manage to catch up with their set lunch! I chose rosti and K got finger O fish. We ordered curly fries too!
To be honest i was disappointed with the so called "Rosti" as it turns out to be hashbrowns........ But the sausages was good, and same for the curly fries! :-D
It was really quiet when we arrived but it got really crowded after that. I saw a note there which says that working people around there are able to get a 10% off! So humans who are working around that area, it's time to head there! ^^/

Elffin & Elffin
Elffin & Elffin is located at 29 Haji Lane! It is actually an art gallery cafe focusing on arts. You'll be able to see lots of painting hanging on the walls!
The cafe isn't that huge, i think there's only like 2 small tables at Lvl one while around less than 10 on the 2nd level. But i feel that it's quite an ideal place to just chill and study maybe?
We ordered a Banana Chocolate Mousse and Earl Grey tea. I like the cake a lot! It's like chocolaty but still you can taste the banana! Thumbs up.
