ELIGIBILITY

Anyone who wants to learn and have a fun experience can join! No prior coding knowledge is required! 

PROJECT AND SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All code must be original and written within the time frame of the hackathon. That means that you may not take code created by someone else or found online. This applies to all outside code other than template code. Don't use ChatGPT or other generative AI to write all code for you, it's not hard to figure out if you have: you are allowed to use any form of generative AI in your project but it must contain code created by you as well.

Your project must contain source code and a video. The project MUST be completed within the window of the competition. If you use an external tool to generate/find code, like LLMs/AI, you must cite that source in your project description.

TEAM SIZE:

The maximum team size is 4 people per team.

JUDGING CRITERIA AND WINNER SELECTION

  • Innovation
    • Does the project revolve around something new?
    • Does it solve a significant problem in society?
    • Is it impactful to society? 
    • Does it take advantage of modern technology in a way not commonly used before?
  • Product completion level
  • Could the project be further developed into a venture?
