How 'bout Grey's last night? I love it! Didn't see that coming with Christina! But, why do we have to wait TWO weeks for the next one? I think I yelled at my tv when I saw that!!
Tonight is scrap night...so, all is good today! :-) hee-hee!
Oh, and heads up, I am in talks with a certain famous blog designer - Lindsay over at Splat - so if you log on one day soon and things look different, it is still me!
It's premiere week!! Woo-hoo! It's about time, and I admit to being mostly looking forward to Grey's tomorrow night!!! But here is how my week lines up, anything I am really missing and should add?
Monday - Dancing with the Stars & Boston Legal (which my DVR said was the 5th and final season - that makes me sad! I love James Spader and William Shatner together.)
Tuesday - Dancing with the Stars (one gets kicked off already but I fell asleep before it ended)
Wednesday - Dancing with the Stars (again!! I mean, why 3 times the first week?) & New Adventures of Old Christine (love this one - it cracks me up! It has Elaine from Seinfeld in it.)
Thursday - Grey's Anatomy (can't wait!!) & ER (I know, I know, it should be over already but I have watched from the beginning and can't stop. It is the 15th and final season.)
Sunday - Desperate Housewives (I am interested to see how they make it jump forward 5 years.)
**Then next week on the 1st of Oct. is Dirty Sexy Money. It hasn't been on since December b/c it didn't come back from the writer's strike. So, I have no idea where we left off.
**I also watched Women's Murder Club last year, but my DVR isn't showing it to record. Anyone know if it's cancelled or when it starts?
I did it! I gave Jax his first shot last night!!!! yay! And it wasn't hard at all! He didn't even flinch! (It helped that his second fav person in the world, Kristen, was petting him!) So...only 6 more shots to go!

Ok - more tv talk - did anyone watch Women's Murder Club last night? The new show based on the James Patterson novel series. James Patterson ROCKS, by the way! I watched and liked it! Thank goodness for DVR! hee-hee!
One of my kids at school is having a soccer game this AM, and I'm going to watch her play. I've never been to a soccer game. Should be fun! Then I might go to the State Fair that is in town afterwards. Can you say funnel cake???? Mmmmm!!!!
This is the first semester that I am not enjoying my master's class. It is more frustrating than anything & cancelled ALOT! It is also going to be the first class in my Master's that I don't make an A!! It's true - turns out she had to grade the final on a curve b/c everyone did so poorly. I would've had a D, but with the curve I have a C on the midterm. I made a 82 (which in her class 83 to 92 is a B, 93 and up A, you get the drift...so I originally made a 72 but in her class that is a D!!!)
Tonight I have a presentation (in 45 min) and I have a project due. I admire all you folks who can do flowcharts - it has given me more headaches than I can count. I hate those arrows! ha! Seriously though, we had maybe a one time 10 minute tutorial on it. It's only 15 points, so I am letting it go....
On a better note, I LOVE the new show "Dirty, Sexy Money"!!! Is anyone else watching? Only 3 shows have aired so far & Kevin & I are hooked! It is second on the 'ole DVR recording list! (And I deleted Private Practice - just not liking it.)

**updated: Presentation is over...and it went. This just isn't my class! I turned in my project that I'm not too proud of either. I have one big project and my final left. I just hope to pull a B in this class and move on to the next one! Have a great weekend! :-)
I am pumped for season premiere week!! I have a mid-term on Thursday...I gotta study before the 7 o'clock hour & take my mid-term BEFORE Grey's comes on! Priorities! ha! I haven't watched much tv all summer, and my body is missing the comfy sofa!
So -my week will go like this: Tonight -Dancing With the Stars Tomorrow - Dancing With the Stars & Boston Legal Wednesday - Dancing With the Stars & Private Practice (my only new show to pick up!) Thursday - Grey's Anatomy & ER (yes, I still watch ER) Friday AND Saturday - scrapbookin' with the girls! yaay!! Sunday - Desperate Housewives
I am upset that What About Brian? wasn't renewed - I really liked that show! :-( My can't miss favs are Grey's and Boston Legal!!!! Did anyone else see that there was suppose to be a series based on James Patterson's books on Friday nights? I read that somewhere but I haven't seen it in the schedule. If that happens, I might pick up two new shows! Thank goodness for DVR!!!

I can't believe it is already Wednesday!! This week has been almost as crazy as last week...it is just the end of the school year - BUSY!! I have decided I need a personal assistant in the months of May and August for school close-out and beginning of the year! I can't keep up!! Anyone interested? It doesn't pay well! ha!
Also, Please tell me why it is raining EVERYDAY at 3:30 just when I get home so I can't mow?!?! And now...my backyard looks like one of my Mom's horse pastures, and I don't know how I am going to mow it anyway!
I am trying to come up with a neat idea for my kids to make their Mom's for Mother's day...all you crafty folks have any inexpensive, neat, EASY ideas for a 3rd grade class? I am brain dead!
I warned you this was random...ha! I have had one of my roughest years in the classroom this year and wanted it to be over I don't know how many times, but now that there are only 19 days left, I am a little sad! I can't believe it! (really, I can b/c I cry every year on the last day of school!) But, now that my troubled child is out of the room, I have really enjoyed and bonded with my kids...and now it's almost over! :-( oh boy, I must have PMS!!!! ha!
And lastly, thank goodness that Billy Ray finally got booted from Dancing with the Stars last night! It is down to my final 4 favs from the beginning! I actually voted this week for the first time - I am lovin' Apolo and his partner - they ROCK! Did you catch their dance this week? WOW!!!!
During the day, I am a 3rd grade teacher that absolutely loves my job. The rest of time I try to balance keeping papers graded, working on my Master's degree in Library Media, and dating my childhood best friend. There are up's, and there are down's - but for the most part, it is a great ride! This is my daily journal so I'll remember all the stuff called life!!
