I was so thrilled to receive this generous batch of creative textured-vinyl and fabric-covered postcards with stitching and other ornamentation from Boo (Mary). See more of her distinctive work at Its Only a Book.

This lovely fabric collage card celebrating the year 2011 comes from Mary (also known as Boo), and it fits my Rabbit mail art call perfectly! On the back it says "may the flames of love and art- and rabbits- burn brightly for you this year."

If you don't know this already, Mary (also known as Boo) makes these utterly cool cards from fabric. This one was done in a sort of lattice-weave, from fir-tree patterned fabric in cheerful Christmas colors.

A cute bunny peeks through the hole in a piece of embroidered cloth. Another fabulous fabric collage from Boo in her "It's Only A Book" series. I love it! The photo at the bottom shows Boo's creative experiment in displaying mailart. I'm tickled to see at least three of my etegami on her Art Tree.

Oh, Boo! You did well to chose this card for me. For those who don't know, I'm a professional translator, and the words glued to the flowered side of this card have a strong connection to the "banana of my life." Probably in more ways than Boo even knows.

Another fabric collage from Boo's book deconstruction project. It amazes me how it came through the post with very little, if any, damage. Lovely, vibrant colors!

From Boo's book deconstruction series (see link to It's Only a Book). Fabric background glued to a cereal box cut-out and decorated with a row of fish-shaped dangly things. Makes me smile.
