'Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers' Reveals Additional Cast, Second Promo
The official website of the Yoroi Shin Den Samurai Troopers television anime revealed additional cast and a second promotional video on Tuesday. The anime sequel will air in split cours, with the first part debuting on January 6 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by Kansai TV and BS11.Cast
Nezu: Kenichi Suzumura (SSSS.Gridman)
Anayama: Chiharu Sawashiro (Kami no Tou: Ouji no Kikan)
Unno: Ryouta Takeuchi (Id:Invaded)
Kakei: Daichi Endou (Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season)
Mochizuki: Toshiki Kumagai (Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra: Hametsu no Bunmei de Hajimeru Sekai Seifuku)
Youichi Fujita (Gintama) is directing the anime at Sunrise. Shougo Mutou (Biohazard: Infinite Darkness) is handling the series composition and penning the script, and Yuuhei Murota (Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san) is designing the characters. Shuuji Katayama (Overlord) is composing the music.
The original television anime aired in 39 episodes from Spring 1998 to Winter 1989. Three original anime sequels were released, with the latest five-episode OVA released in 1991.
Hajime Yatate and Ryuuichi Hoshino began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Bonbon in 1988. Kodansha published the second and final volume in 1989.
