Seriously.

That was my reaction looking at my credit card statement. It's diabolical how they have it set up. If you spend "x" dollars in a month, you get 1% cash back. If you spend more than "3x" dollars in a month, you get 3% cash back. I'm only at around "2x" at the moment, half way through the reporting period. So... point is... this marketing method connects directly to the "deal" section of my brain. I see that so far I have $8 coming to me, but it will be $45 if I charge up to the "3x" point. Aargh!!!

Is it any wonder I am constantly criticizing consumerism? I'm chained to it.
