heartsick

There are many words floating around in my head this morning. But the one that says it all is heartsick. My sorrow for this country and its future generations is beyond what I can articulate. I'm just sickened by the agendas that will more than likely be pushed on us in the days to come.

We all know the list of hot button topics. And they all have vast moral and societal implications for us as a country. Makes me shudder and be sickened to the core. And calls me all the more to prayer for our country's people.

Like I said.. heartsick.

Thank you for praying. why can't people see what we see? I am so shocked. I leave in Va and as soon as i saw what the numbers were i turned off the TV, went to bed and cried. Then when i came into work everyone was happy and cheering. I feel very alone in my work place. They just don't see what we see. AGAIN Thank you for praying and making me feel less alone.

SHOCKED IN VIRGINIA

I felt that way as I watched the election results and then I sort of heard God say, "Get it out of your system, cause there is much work to do."

God is up to something Kay, we cannot lose heart but must instead pray as never before.

I'm praying. May God bless you in every way. Love your blog by the way! Blessings.

I agree with Michelle's comment. God doesn't want us to be downcast and ineffective. He's giving us some time to adjust, and then He's going to shine through us to an ever darkening world. He has called us to joy in Him, but also understands that it may take us a while to get there.

Blessings to you, Kay...

Kay, thanks for the comment. Now is our time to shine among others. We can show true love by the way we react and treat others in our defeat. But we know we are not defeated, because we know who is in control. We may be the only Jesus that others will ever see.

Though hugely disappointed, I am also greatly encouraged. Everything is part of His grand plan, and one day our real King will show up. Now that's worth celebrating!

Be blessed,
Kathleen
