It's A Great Day To Be Alive

I hurt. Like all over ache. Hurts to type (guess I am crazy for typing this then). But, I am at work and I am doing my best not to cry.

Yesterday was an amazing day. One that things went right, I felt great, I had an amazing time at Avra for Jonathan's birthday party. I love Greek food. I was on my game, chatting, having fun. Until about 11pm. I am so greatful for the time I felt great. It was wonderful.

At 11pm I put my head on the pillow and everything changed. I couldn't sleep, everything started to hurt. I was up until about 3:30pm. I was cold so I turned the heater up. I was hot and itchy so I turned the heater down. I watched the Dog Whisperer. I finally fell asleep and then the alarm went off. Snoozed three times. Finally got up, put a hat on, put some lipstick on (cause you have to feel pretty when you hurt, its a rule), grabbed myself some coffee, and headed out the door.

Side note, for coffee I prefer fat-free vanilla soy milk. For tea, I prefer Almond Milk. I just learned this yesterday. Just in case you wanted to know.

I jump into my car and head down Peachtree. I am having my normal converation with God as I drive. Today was about healing and comfort. I explained that I loved how I felt yesterday but today I don't feel good and I need Your healing and Your comfort. And guess what came on the radio...

Its a great day to be alive...

In case you were wondering...

The latest medical news from me.

The specialist that I go to... the one who did the amazingly awful test on me last Friday... let me know that all the test they did came back normal!! That's good. So it's just IBS right. Well, they are not sure. Since the last medication they gave me didn't do anything they are now putting me on Amitiza. I took it last night for the first time... it says may cause nausea and they were not kidding!!! I was nauseous as all could be last night. And, yes, I did take it with food. The effects of the Lyrica were strong the first couple of days and then subsided. I am really hoping that the Amitiza works the same way.

I am taking both medications in the AM and the PM until the doctors say otherwise.

But how am I feeling? MUCH BETTER!! I can't tell if the Amitiza is working yet (but then it hasn't been 24 hours yet). However, the Lyrica and vitamin D are working beautifully!! I am still sleeping a lot at night however I am waking up feeling that not only do I want to do thing, I really can!!!

Yesterday I ran some errands... I went to IKEA to pick up some tea lights, I got the oil changed in my car, I had lunch with my good friend Rick (I used to work with him at Cbeyond... he was always a mentor and friend), got the Amitiza from my doctor, stopped at Sally's to pick up hair dye, and stopped in a fabric store, Office Depot looking for a laptop case, and in Home Goods. Granted, Sally's, the fabric store, Office Depot, and Home Goods were all next door to each other but I was able to go to them all, go home and eat dinner before getting sleepy (around 8:30pm). I don't mind being sleepy early at night if I can have a good day!

And on top of all of it... I feel good again this morning!!

Please continue to pray for me. Even if we find that the medications I am on work I have to pray that the medical insurance that I am switching to in December will cover them. The current insurance I am on doesn't. I know that no matter what, God will work it all out. He currently has... both doctors have given me free samples as we test.

Today I am hoping to go to a jeans store, to Barnes & Noble, clean my apartment, and dye my hair. Lets see how far I am able to get...

Another Update!

I went to the doctor again today. All the blood work that he did came back normal... well all except for my vitamin D, I am deficient in that. So I stopped by Target on my way home to pick some up. What does that mean for me... the doctor is not sure. He has been doing some research on what a deficiency in vitamin D can do to you but he really doesn't know what causes it and what it can do. So, he also wrote me a prescription for more Lyrica. I will be taking both until we can figure out if the trouble is actually the vitamin D. If it is, we will take me off the Lyrica and I will do a big dance!! If not, then we will continue to isolate the fibromyalgia.

Since I have been home I have done some research but I am not finding much that I would think to be interesting... except I found an article entitled 'Causes of vitamin d deficiency' from Helium.com. The part that raised my eyebrow was:

Signs of vitamin "D" deficiency can include, excessive thirst, itching, eczema-like itching, eye pain and soreness, frequent urination, diarrhea, achiness, insomnia, irritability, moodiness, headaches and migraines, muscle pain and many types of cancer, and bone fractures, dizzy spells, fatigue and deposits of calcium in your liver, lungs, kidney, stomach and your blood vessel walls. Since a lack of vitamin "D" leads to a lack of the absorption of B12, calcium and iron you could experience any or all of the above symptoms.

Research shows that fibromyalgia may have a link to vitamin "D" deficiency.

Interesting isn't it...

However, my B12, calcium and iron counts all came back normal. And, although the site is copy written I don't know how accurate it really is. I have been looking and looking for supporting evidence that the above statement is accurate but I am not finding any. So, it looks like I will now be my own guinea pig and will see what happens when I take my vitamins!!

Right now my prayer is that the trouble is just vitamin D (and if it is I will be shocked but I serve a mighty God who can do what he wants!!)!!!

Down and Out... Still?

Well, I am not as down or out as I was but I am not quite better yet. The extra liver tests that the doctor did came back negative... which is a good thing however it means they are still trying to figure out what is wrong. I had been writing down all of my symptoms to tell the doctor and he is not 100% but with my symptoms he thinks it may be fibromyalgia. I looked it up online and found these symptoms... and I have to tell you most of the symptoms are things I have experienced recently and some have been quite long term. The doctor put me on Pregabalin (Lyrica) to see if it helps. I'll keep you posted!

Illness Update

So, I am still sick. Nice, huh? Well, last week I went back to the doctor and here is where I am today...

On Friday the doctor took some blood work and when I heard back from the doctor they said its no longer strep and its not mono. The trouble is an elevated liver count. They are running additional test for things like hepatitis, etc and they should have the additional results back in a week. In the meantime I am on prednisone. They say the prednisone should help me to feel better and more awake. So far I am barely staying awake. I do very little and I am exhausted. In the past week I have worked about 2 hours... and after the 2 hours I could barely keep my eyes open.

This isn't the first time I have had blood work come back with an elevated liver count so who knows what will come of it. I just ask that you keep me in your prayers and once I know more I will definitely let you know again.

However, I am still very lucky. I have the best friends anyone could ask for who have brought me soup and flowers. And I include the people I know from work in the friends category... they have kept up with my illness and have even sent me flowers! My boss has told me every time I have tried to work to go back home and get better. I can't ask for more. Want to see my flowers?? Check them out...

Its nice to look around and see such beautiful flowers! I am super lucky!

Missing Life

Once again MIA. Well, this time I blame it on strep. I have been out of life basically since last Wednesday and I am tired of sleeping!! I have spent the last 6 days either on my couch or on my bed. I had to go out today to get a few medications that I ran out of and I have to say it was nice to move but it made me sleepy.

When I think of the fun times that I was supposed to have this past week (my friend Victor's birtday party, seeing Nick Arrojo with Heather, small group, Oasis, Atlanta Challenge Celebration, Church, seeing my friends both at work and outside of work) I am a little sad however I need to get better.

So, medication will be taken and back to the couch I head to lay back down. Hope everyone else is feeling better than me!!!

I Feel Like I Am Falling Behind

I noticed that I am not updating as much as I have been... where do the days go!! I had a great weekend. Friday became my day of rest and what do I do on my day of rest... I run for an hour and a half. Well, not really run the entire time, but most of it! I was going to go on a 4 mile run, which should have taken about 45 minutes. However as I started running I wanted to try a new course so I ran around different streets, thinking I knew where I was going. However, about an hour into the run I realized I had no clue where I was. Luckily I had my trusty I phone on me so I pulled it out, used GPS to find my location and mapped my way home. I was about 2.5 miles away from home!! I couldn't believe how far I had gone, and I would have to go about 2 miles down Peachtree to make it home. I don't like running on such a busy street so once I got to Peachtree I called my mom and talked to her on the rest of the walk.

The rest of the day was then resting. I sat on the couch, took a nap, had lunch and dinner, and knitted. It was great!! I am making Victor a scarf for his birthday, which is this week, however it may not be done on time. If not, he will get it a little late! Oh well, I am actually impressed on how far I already am on the scarf since I just started it last weekend!

Yesterday I worked out again in the morning, but this time I played it safe and went to the gym. I ran on the treadmill for 30 minutes, did 30 minutes of cardio-kickboxing, and 30 minutes of yoga. Since the cardio-kickboxing and yoga are done to FitTV (and they have commercials) I did a few minutes of weightlifting during the commercials.

After the workout I ate some lunch and went to my friend Erinleigh's house for her dog, Bauer's, 2nd birthday party!! It was a lot of fun and I got to meet some new people which was very cool. After the party the ladies wanted to go to an art fair so we left around 6pm to head over there... however the fair closed at 6pm so by the time we got there all the booths were closed up. The guys were going to another house to play video games so us ladies headed over to that house to hang out. The game the guys wanted to play was missing some key parts so indeed we played Apples to Apples. I hadn't played it before but it was a lot of fun! Around 9pm Erinleigh got hungry so she, her husband George, and I went to La Fonda Cantina for a little Mexican food.

The Cantina (on Peachtree) is very close to my apartment and I had been there before but just for drinks. Their food was pretty good. I had the veggie tacos and Erinleigh got the salmon fish tacos. Since we each got 2 tacos with our order we decided to split them. We both preferred the veggie. We also got dessert to split... Apple Empanadas. They reminded all of us of apple pies from McDonalds. I wouldn't get the dessert again but I would go back for the main course. And, like all Mexican restaurants, they had chips and salsa. The salsa was super fresh and super good! And, for those that care, the price was very good.

Doing too much...

When I am trying to do too much my body is quick to tell me... by getting sick! Tuesday night I was really tired but did my workout anyway. I was so tight when trying to do my yoga I thought something was up. Then on Wednesday I woke up with a sore throat. Hmmm...

As the day went on I felt worse and worse. As a precaution I stopped by Publix on my way home and picked up the ingredients to make my bean soup. Since I wasn't feeling well I made it a little bit more like chicken noodle... here is what I did

CUBAN BLACK BEAN SOUP

Vegetable Ingredients:
1c celery, thinly sliced
1c red onion, diced
1/2 large green bell pepper, diced
1 carrot, diced
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
2 tbs canola oil

1 ear of corn, fully cooked & removed from husk
1/2 tomato, diced

Soup and seasonings:
3c canned black beans
3c vegetable stock
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp cumin
½ tsp celery salt
½ tsp coriander
¼ tsp thyme
¼ tsp white pepper
¼ tsp cayenne
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp clove
¼ tsp allspice
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Roux: mix 2 tbs flour, 2 tbs oil, 4 tbs water (was supposed to be vegetable stock but I ran out)

1. In my large soup pot I sautéed the vegetable ingredients (minus tomato) in a pan over medium heat until vegetables are tender.
2. Added the tomato, corn, black beans, vegetable stock, and seasonings to the sautéed vegetables. Brought to a boil over medium heat and simmered on low heat for 30 minutes.
3. Whisked in roux, simmer and stir for a few minutes. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.

It turned out perfect. There was a slight spice that helped clear my nose and throat, and the vegetables made me feel good because of how it reminded me of chicken noodle soup and I always liked that when I was sick before. It has been perfect to just heat and eat too.

Yesterday I woke up feeling dead... headache, body ache, sore throat... so I was happy to have some soup to eat! I called in sick and slept most of the day.

Today I woke up and felt a little better but still will probably not be leaving the apartment...

Breakfast of Champions (and left-overs)

I got up this morning and knew I wanted to work out... just didn't realize how much I would do. I made my way out to the couch and started flipping thru the channels when I found that on All Star Workouts they were doing a dancers routine. I thought that would be fun and it was!! But it was an hour and after it was complete I was hungry.

I had/still have left over polenta in my fridge so I pan fried some more up and then made a vegan omelet to go over it. I wanted a little bit of vegetable as well, but all I had to go with it was pizza sauce and basil pesto... so that is what I used.

On the bottom of the plate was cubes of pan fried polenta, followed by some pizza sauce that I had heated up, topped with the pesto, followed by the vegan omelet on top!! It was so good!!

In the omelet I did the following:

3 ounces silken tofu
1 tablespoon soymilk
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon tahini
1/4-1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
2 pinch smoked paprika
1/4 chipotle in adobo (with seeds removed)
1 basil leaf
pinch of wheat bran
1/2 tablespoon milled flax seeds

Blended together all ingredients until smooth. Sprayed a small non-stick skillet with olive oil and heat on medium-high until very hot. Poured the batter into the center of the skillet in a circular pattern about 6-8 inches across, and use a spoon or spatula to smooth over the top. Turned head down to medium and let sit for 4-5 minutes. Then flipped, let sit for less than 1 minute and then topped the polenta.

I waited a little bit and then did some more exercises off the Fit Channel... one that was a pilates program and one that was a yoga program.

After another hour of working out I was hungry again... so I ate left overs of the tofu/polenta that I made earlier this week. I plated that with some salad and it was great!! A little bit later I was hungry again so I popped some popcorn and ate that with some soy margarine!! Yumm-0!

After a little tv and a nap I decided I needed to work out again... this time I went down to the gym to run and lift weights. Now its dinner time. I just heard the timer go off... I am about to have some salmon with the left overs from Cafe Sunflower from yesterday!!! For dessert, some left over cake from yesterday!!

I am ready for dinner!!

Allergies?!?!?

I woke up this morning to a somewhat sore throat, runny nose, and headache. I am praying that this is allergies but I think I am dreaming.  I need to get my allergy shots done and will do that tomorrow.

Last night I did my work out again.  One hour on the treadmill, 30 minutes weight training and then 15 minutes of stretching.  It felt great!!  Of course when I got home I was starving and tired!!  I ate, took a shower and then went to bed around 10pm.

Today I am hoping it will be nice enough when I get home to sit on the roof and enjoy some sunshine!  Wish me luck!!

Parents came to visit!!!!!

I had the most wonderful time with my family in North Carolina!!  I hope you enjoyed the pictures below!!  My parents drove down to see my new office as well as my new apartment and then we were going to drive right back up to N. Carolina.  However, God had different plans.  From the moment we left Buckhead Church it started raining.  We stopped so my dad could put his rain suit on before heading to my house.  We (aka my mom) checked the weather channel and found that there was a huge rain storm coming thru.  So, instead of heading straight north we headed straight to lunch... at R. Thomas!!!  Yumm-o!!  We all shared an appetizer and entrée.  Then my parents got a raspberry chocolate cheese cake (of which I took a bite -- to die for) and a smoothie. I also got a smoothie!  We were soooo full!!

While we were at R. Thomas we sat on a covered patio while it rained outside.  By the time we were ready to leave the rain stop!  Perfect, right?!?!  Nope, we got back to my apartment, turned the weather channel back on, and found that the break would only be temporary.  We had a night full of thunderstorms ahead of us.  So, instead of heading north my dad took a nap and my mom and I did the laundry and chatted.  When my dad got up we went up to the deck and sat outside and waited until the next thunderstorm came in.  When it did we headed back to my apartment and had a light dinner.  After dinner we headed back up to the roof and (from under an awning) we watched the lighting storm act like a good firework festival!!!  We had a great time watching a beautiful light show!!

Due to the events of Thursday, we got up at 6am on Friday and headed to North Carolina.  Shortly after we got outside Atlanta the clouds dissipated and we had a beautifully sunny day!!!  I was able to ride on the back of Dad's Harley for the day.  We went all over Cherokee, North Carolina and drove over to Tennessee and back.  We had a blast!! There are more pictures that my mom, Aunt Linda, and Kelly took -- if I get them you know they will be put on here!

Since it was every ones last day at the cabin, after a wonderful spaghetti dinner everyone packed up.  There was a ton of food that I was able to take home with me since no one else had room to take it home -- the joy of a car I guess!!  We stayed the night in the cabin, had breakfast at the local pancake house, and then each of us headed in a different direction.  I took a few hours to get home by making a few fun stops!

Once home, I got all the food unpacked, had some lunch, did my laundry, and then met up with Victor at Piedmont Park.  We had fun walking Odin around the park but it was quite humid so we left the park so Victor could show me his new refrigerator.  Its really nice!!

Since I have so  much food we left Victor's house and headed to mine thinking we would eat and then hang out in the pool on the roof.  But, once again God had a different plan.  As we were driving to my place the sky turned from nice and sunny to really dark with a ton of wind and lightning.  By the time we made it to my (thank God) covered parking it was hailing outside!!  We still ate dinner but instead of heading up to the roof we watched the movie Cast Away... and Kedrick joined in the middle of the movie.  It was a lot of fun.  But, if you saw the pictures below of the weather... there were quite a lot of people without power that night as well as a ton of blocked off roads from trees being knocked down and debris everywhere!

It was a great weekend!!  Followed by a great Sunday (which isn't a weekend day for me)!  I had a great day at work as well as the ability to see an amazing service!  After work, I drove home and headed straight to the roof to get some sun!!  I spent my time going between the pool and the lounge chair!!  After lounging I went to the gym where I ran on the elliptical machine for about an hour before doing some weight training and yoga.  I was told in the fitness challenge that I need to add more weight training to my routine so every other day I am doing this.  After my workout I came back to the apartment for dinner and then went outside for a post-dinner walk.

After another wonderful day at work, I decided to duplicate yesterday.  I relaxed on the roof to catch a few rays of sun before doing a little bit of yoga and having dinner.  After dinner I went for another walk.  Blissful!!  Its about time for me to take a shower!!  LOL!!

As far as the workout, I am trying to reduce my body fat so I can score better on my next check in for the fitness challenge.  I remember watching Oprah one afternoon and hearing that we should be walking about 10,000 steps per day.  I have a pedometer that North Point gave me so I put that on my hip today and check out my typical day's foot count... its right around 5,000.  Adding in my 30 minute walk around the neighborhood its just under 9,000 steps.  Which is perfect!!  That means when I work out I almost double that 10,000 steps.  So, lets see how this works for my ability to drop weight and body fat!!  I'll keep you posted!!

I Hurt!!

Well, a few ways actually!

The first, I actually miss having Lucy here!  She would crack me up!!!  I didn't miss her this AM when I had to get up... I was glad I didn't have to do the work... hehe!!  But I would dog-sit her again anytime!

Second... I worked out this morning and did a lot of shoulder exercises and I hurt my left side!!! I can barely lift my left arm!!  Guess I will have to either rest tomorrow or only run!

My goal for today was to clean the condo since Lucy left yesterday but I decided not to strain myself and I am only doing the laundry.  I did organize the different areas that Angela, the condo owner, has set up for cleaning.  I am too, too organized and I was having a hard time because I felt like everything is everywhere.  Now I have he cleaning supplies set up in a way that works for me and I should be ready tomorrow!

To All The Guys

I have to tell you a little story about my time spent at the gym today (or a here's what not to do). I would guess that 90% of the guys out there would not do this but if you ever wonder why us ladies are skeptical here is why.

I am working on my timed work out (which was discussed in a previous post), in what is normally the group fitness room but there wasn't a class going on, I was by myself, and I was wearing my earphones listening to something I hoped would keep me pumped as I try to lose weight. When this guy walks up and stands by me. At this point I am doing inclined push-ups and wonder why someone is standing over me so I stop, look up, don't recognize him but realize he is motioning for me to take off my earphones.

So I stop and take them off. Then he goes into a sales pitch about how he travels all over the world, he is very rich, and how I am the most elegant girl he has ever seen. He then asks me for a date. I tell him no thank you but he now wants an explanation of why not. Whaaaa? Seriously. If I say no thats all it should be. So now I lie and say I have a boyfriend and still no thank you.

He then goes on a rant about how he is going to call his mother tonight and find out why he can't get a girl. He has a "beemer," he travels, and he has over a million dollars in the bank but he can't get a date. He then wants to know why I will not go on a date. I said well I have a boyfriend and I don't see other guys when I am dating someone (ps I don't like lying but it felt easiest in this situation). He looks straight at me and tells me would be a better boyfriend than who I already date.

I could have said so many things at this point but in hopes of quickly getting back to my workout I just shrugged my shoulders, put my headphones in, and went back to my workout.

Oh how many places he went wrong...

1. Never stop a lady in the middle of a workout. If you want to talk to her in the gym wait until she is at a down time. If you stop me you are starting off on the wrong foot. Its like telling me what I am doing is not important. Not a good way to start off.

2. If you say travel a lot for your job but don't say for what it screams you are looking for a hooker. Of which, I am not. Ewwh.

3. If you have to tell me about your money to get me hooked you are looking for a hooker. Refer to #2.

4. Never, ever tell a lady she is elegant when she is working out. She is sweating. Seriously, just wrong.

5. If she tells you no, say thank you for your time and walk away. That would be classy. Don't get whiny and bitchy. That's just pathetic.

6. Don't bring your mother into the first conversation.

7. Don't ask her out again when she says she has a boyfriend... that's just wrong.

How slimy.

Newest Fitness Routine

So, I have found a new routing I will be doing for the next month. On my cardio/weight training days I will run 30 minutes on the elliptical/treadmill and then 20 minutes of this. Checking it out online it didn't seem too difficult. But, when I attempted to do all the exercises yesterday I couldn't. Its exhausting!

Love it.

Can't wait to do it again.

Early Morning

On my quest to lose the weight I gained in April (almost 15 pounds if anyone is counting) I have been getting up early a few days a week to get the workout in. Today I was up at 5:30am and at the gym by 6am. Ran a little over 4 miles and shot a few hoops before cleaning up and heading into work.

I have been trying to work out 1-2 hours a day and eating healthy and I plan to do that until I get back to my pre-April weight. The eating healthy will stay but the workouts will change at that point.

Once again, for those who are counting I started May 1 at 148 pounds. I am currently at 146 and my goal is to be at 136 (pre-April weight).

Wish me luck... I am not a morning person.

Where is my coffee...

Upper Respiratory Infection

That is what I have. I went to the doctor on Monday and got medication. Then spent the last 3 days on the couch. The nice part... I got to watch a lot of Sex and The City (and Oprah) and slept a ton! Now I have a plane flight at 8pm to FLORIDA!! I can't went to spend the next week with my family!! I am overly excited!

Luckily I don't have to worry too much about getting everyone sick... my dad and brother already are! I don't know if that really is a good thing or not... but I am still excited to see everyone!

THIRTY!!! WOO HOO!!

SOOOOO... I was able to do 30, yes 30, floor wipers in a row!!!!!!!!! For those who don't know what they are check it out...

When I started doing them I was only able to do 5 in a row (1 = up to the left, down to the middle, up to the right, down to the middle). So 30 today was HUGE!! I am overly excited!!

I don't remember how much I have discussed my workout routine on here in the past so here is a good spot to mention it. Since the beginning of December I have been doing the "300 workout" which includes the following:

# 25 pull-ups
# 50 deadlifts (right now I am up to 40 lbs... but I will go to 50 next week)
# 50 push-ups
# 50 box jumps (I use a step from the aerobics class with 5 levels)
# 50 "floor wipers" (a core and shoulders exercise at 10 pounds - next week it will be 12 lbs)
# 50 "clean and press" at 15 pounds (a weight-lifting exercise)
# 25 more pull-ups -- for a total of 300 reps

I always mix a few other exercises into the routine to keep it interesting but the point of the routine is to not stop working to keep the cardio up. Before the routine I run/jog 30-45 minutes (3-5 miles). I do this routine on Saturday and Tuesday. On Thursday I generally jog 30 minutes and plates for 60 minutes.

Right now I am sore... but that is great!! Hehe!!

Sleeeeeeeepy - Update

Thanks everyone for your comments!! I soooo appreciate them. I did some research on the comments and I have decided to keep a quick mood journal to keep track of how I am feeling. Then I will take that to my doctor with the list of ideas that you have. In the meantime, I am stopping by the closest Whole Foods on my way home to pick up some supplements that the Mayo Clinic website suggest could help.

From what I read good supplements for depression-like symptoms are: melatonin, St. John's Wort and SAM-e (for Serotonin), and Vitamin B6.

It wouldn't surprise me if this is depression related... about 5 years ago I was treated for depression.

One comment was artificial sweeteners such as that aspartame in diet coke could cause a problem... and that I have heard before too, however, I drink maybe 1 full can of Diet Coke ever month (if that) and I try my best to stay away from any artificial sweeteners or high fructose corn syrup and such, so I don't think that is it. I wish it was... it would be an easy fix!! Also, someone thought it may be that I am not getting enough sleep but I literally fall asleep at 10pm and will stay asleep either for like 12 hours or until woken. I am for sure getting enough sleep! I am trying to keep my sleep to 8 hours as much as possible.

If anyone else has any other ideas on what they think it might be or other supplement ideas please let me know! I am always open to suggestions!

PS. If this doesn't work I am getting a GEO!! Thanks Jerry for the idea ;)

Sleeeeeeeepy

Once again I am back to being sleepy all the time. I have been to numerous doctors over the years about this but no one knows why I get so tired. Monday night I went to bed at 10pm and woke up to my alarm at 9am -- yet I was still tired all day and was ready for bed again last night at 10pm. I woke up to my alarm at 8am. I am sitting in my bosses office after drinking 1/2 a can of diet coke but I could still lay on the floor and fall asleep.

I feel like I am getting a good nights sleep, I have dreams, I work out 3 days a week, and I am eating healthy. I am not working crazy hours a week. I think things are calm. Yet tired.

What is most frustrating is that I start to hear half conversations (and that is especially bad when working), I can't remember things I am used to remembering, I have a hard time concentrating, I feel like I stumble over words, and I stop wanting to go out with friend because all I want to do is sleep.

I don't know what brings it on and it last for generally a week to a month. If anyone who reads this has any ideas of what they might think this is or what I can do to not feel so tired please leave it in a comment!! I would be more than happy to try just about anything!
