2017 School Lunches #239

I think this is the last of the school lunches! YAY!! HAPPY SUMMER BREAK ya'll.

Image
My youngest loves those Lunchables with the bread, cheese, red sauce, and pepperoni in them. The thing is she doesn't eat pepperoni so we make our own. With ingredients that might be a little better for her? I don't know, no sugar added marinara, cheese we grate ourselves, Sandwich thins, and carrots.

Jamberry GIVEAWAY from Lisa

Image
Jamberry's got some new "tricks" up their sleeves. Though they aren't tricks, they are just improved shields! These shields are so much easier to put on, they are THINNER, and they are put on a clear backing so measuring and cutting is made much easier.
The sample I had on in the picture above stayed on for  NINE days. With the older shields I would have some lifting and have to tack them down. Not so with these. Also because they are thinner they heat faster and are so pliable, no buckling, just a smooth application.

This is my current mani. I put it on February 14, no peeling, no chipping no lifting so far!

Happy Valentine's Day 2013

Don't worry, you haven't missed it yet! I'm a bit early- ok late as far as bloggers go but come on. In my defense I wanted to post ideas last month. But as I am a procrastinator I didn't think about Valentines until 2/5... so here's your post. Maybe you can bookmark it for next year? Or Pin it to a Pinterest board (I would be honored if you did).
I also listed a few ideas for handmade gifts below, feel free to leave a comment with more ideas!
Now, on to these Valentine's day cards for the girls. I have had a stockpile of crayons leftover in a box since my Love Abounds days when I sold molded crayons. So I knew I would make crayons, for at least some of our little friends. Another thing about Valentine's day cards/treats is that pictures are SO easy to just print out. Fairly cheap also. I printed them out last year, you can see pictures below, and HERE. It was so easy.
That and I love the pictures that  Felipe of Petruzzo Photography did for us this year and I wanted to use them. Their Facebook page is HERE.
Here are some contenders for Valentines in our home.
Pixie-
These Valentine cards do have names on them also. Just not these one's I'm posting.

Jamberry- GIVEAWAY

Image
My nails with Multicolor Chevron. (The cuticle oil rocks too.)
OK so I've posted about Jamberry before. They are nail shields that don't chip. They are vinyl and not polish so there's no polish odor. Read my post from before HERE. I have quite a few of these and I don't know it may be my nail shape and I don't like growth to show so mine are usually on for 1- 1/2 weeks before I take them off myself. I will say this do NOT peel these off. They can be taken off with nail polish remover, or a little heat from a blow dryer, or soak your fingertips in a little oil- olive, coconut, baby oil, etc. They are made to stay on and they will damage a nail if you just peel them. I don't have long nails, I wear mine short but these are great for any length.
Lisa, my consultant is a Stay At Home Mom, she knows Jamberry, loves the product, her job and helping customers. You can visit her on her website HERE, or on Facebook HERE,. Lisa is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and has awesome customer service. I had a wrong shield sent to me once and she sent out the correct one right away. If she doesn't know the answer to a question, she finds out and gets back to me right away. Also, she's big on samples if you'd like to try a shield on. Send her a message and she'll get back to you!

I like to pretend I'm organized.
I had this bad boy custom made on Etsy by this seller.
Great communication, easy to work with, and fast shipping! I need another one of these LOL.

This isn't an original idea- been to a nail salon ever? I saw it on Pinterest too. Awesome. Are you on Pinterest? Are you just pinning or using ideas also?

DIY Nail transfers!

Image
Gotta love Pinterest! I saw these newspaper print nails and had to try them. The problem is I tried dipping my nail in alcohol, dipping the paper in alcohol... nothing. BIG disappointment. I tried printed paper- laser and newspaper. Then I decided to try nail polish remover. Not my OPI remover, the cheap stuff. It worked! Here's what I did. I didn't dip my finger in the remover.
