Choo! Choo! Guess the Vehicle!

PUBLISHER: Child's Play International
COPYRIGHT: 2015
This is a very cute little board book with five different vehicles to guess. On one page is the sound a vehicle makes (like choo! choo!), and on the next page the child can open the flap to find out which vehicle makes that sound.
The illustrations are bright and colorful with very large animals and vehicles.

Trains, Boats, and Planes
TITLE: Trains, Boats, and Planes
AUTHOR: Peter Curry
ILLUSTRATOR: Peter Curry
PUBLISHER: Little Bee Books
COPYRIGHT: 2016
Trains, Boats, and Planes by Peter Curry is a colorfully illustrated board book that features trains, boats and planes. A couple different types are listed for each.
This would be a good book for toddlers to introduce them to these different types of transportation and expose them to the vocabulary of the names of the vehicles. The book is very simplistic without any text except for the names of the various vehicles. (On a side note I wasn't sure why there was a period following the name labels on each page since it was only a word and not a sentence.)
The illustrations add to the appeal of this book.
I received this book from the publisher for my honest review. Thank you.
Have a day of blessings!

Mrs. Fickle's Pickles
TITLE: Mrs. Fickle's Pickles
AUTHOR: Lori Ries
ILLUSTRATOR: Nancy Cote
PUBLISHER: Boyds Mills Press
COPYRIGHT: 2006
Mrs. Fickle likes pickles. She likes to grow them, take them to the fair, and eat them.
This is a rhyming book, and I feel it would be good for preschool or kindergarten age children. The pages have minimal text and would be a quick read in the classroom. I found this book at the library, and it caught my eye because of the title.
