R.I.P. John Chamberlain. 1927-2011.
Sad to hear about John Chamberlain's passing. Here is a great video of him working toward his Gagosian show earlier this year.

R.I.P. Richard Hamilton 1922 - 2011.

Richard Hamilton, a British painter and printmaker whose sly, trenchant take on consumer culture and advertising made him a pioneering figure in Pop Art, and who designed the cover of the Beatles’ “White Album,” died on Tuesday at his home near Oxford. He was 89.

Sadness. R.I.P. Sure.
I had the privilege of meeting Sure last year at a mutual friends birthday and then again when he passed through the Zoo offices with Ader. He was a genuinely nice human with a great handstyle that I was aware of long before I met him in person. He was killed while serving in Afghanistan this week. My condolences to his friends and family. R.I.P.
