Quotable Quote

" I bend to sweep crumbs and I bend to wipe vomit and I bend to pick up
little ones and wipe away tears... And at the end of these days I bend next to
the bed and I ask only that I could bend more, bend lower. Because I serve a
Savior who came to be a servant. He lived bent low. And bent down here is where I see His face. And people say, “Don’t you get tired?” and yes, I do. But I’m face to face with Jesus in the dirt, and the more I bend the harder and better and fuller this life gets. And sure, we are tired, but oh we are happy. Because bent down low is where we find fullness
of Joy.” ― Katie J.Davis

Picnic Fun

Our grass is finally reviving itself, and is looking 100 times better than when we moved in, so we thought we'd enjoy an outdoor picnic. There is nothing on the earth that is more fun than spending simple time like this with family. Really! Not Disneyland, date night, gorging myself on chocolate, or sleeping in to my hearts content. There's just something so satisfying about spending very little money and enjoying each others company. I love this family of mine!

Love the pictures! Tegan fits into the family, like he had always been there. He loves his mama and daddy and is so happy to finally have a family, his extended family loves him, too. He is such a loving, happy little guy. Tegan is a little artist also, and loves to draw pictures for us. We love Tegan. Gram & Gramp Gene.
