The Letter

The newspaper says local u placements will be known by Wednesday through snail mail.

40 000 got placements.

The odds are rather high i guess.

Any Tom, Dick and Harry could be one of those 40 000.

Or in this case Christopher George.

If he gets it (which by Murphy's Law, he most likely will), it'll be rather cool. Its cheaper and all that and cool cuz he isnt Bumi which usually makes it harder for one to get a place in local u.

So i'd be very proud of him and want him to accept the offer.

On the other hand,

If he gets local u it could be anywhere in Malaysia. In all fairness Malaysia isn't all that big la. But the chances of him not being in KL is extremely high.

So fingers crossed, because I want him to have a shot at the best offer and education.

but i'd also like to have him still living ten minutes away from me for as long as i can.
