090826.SNSD.News.Kim Dongwook and Jessica, Main Characters of 'Legally Blonde' the Musical

It has been chosen that actor Kim Dongwook and SNSD member Jessica will be the main characters of the musical 'Legally Blonde.'

It's been decided that the two will perform in the musical 'Legally Blonde' starting on November 14 at the Comex Auditorium in Seoul (Samsungdong). Kim Dongwook will be the main male character, Emmett, while Jessica will be the main female character, Elle Woods.

Kim Dongwook has recently finished the KBS drama 'Partner' and is currently working on promoting the release of his new movie 'National Representative.' But a representative of his company has states that he has already shown dedication in analyzing his role in the musical. SNSD's Jessica finished promoting 'Tell Me Your Wish' and decided on being a part of this musical.

Broadway's hit musical 'Legally Blonde,' which will be shown in Asia for the first time, is a remake of the movie 'Legally Blonde' that was released in 2001 and made $90,000,000.

After performing at Broadway in 2007, the musical has been on tour across America and will start its promotions in England starting December 5.

In addition to the two main roles, singer Kim Jongjin is challenging himself by taking a part in this musical. His role is Professor Callahan, a straight-forward and stubborn lawyer, who makes an offer for a promotion in exchange for a sexual relationship.

Elle Woods' best friend Paulette, a hair dresser and nail artist, has been chosen to be performed by Jeon Sookyung and musical actress Chu Junghwa.

Other cast members are Lee Joowon, Lee Youngmi, Kim Hyungmook, Im Kihong, Ha Jiseung, Baek Juhee, and former Miss Korea Lee Hanui.

So Nyuh Shi Dae's Jessica, while receiving acting lessons at a shut down school, ended up crying.

On the 10th MBC "Sunday Sunday Night" "So Nyuh Shi Dae Horror Film Factory", Jessica and the other members are tested for their nerve and mettle. During this test Jessica ended up crying.

During this recording, Jessica and Tiffany's test was to trek through a rundown school loaded with "horror traps" and go through the classrooms while maintaining the given roles.

The role for the two was to be two headstrong high school students sneaking in to steal test papers, but Jessica ended up crying after being shocked and scared by the traps.

Taeyeon and Sunny, who are known for not being scared easily, attempted the challenge as well. However, due to figurines exploding and ghosts appearing in classrooms, an affiliate stated that even those two were trembling all the while trying to continue acting.

'We Got Married' New Couples Up For Discussion... Kwon Jiyong-Jessica?

Public celebrity couple SG Wannabe member Kim Yongjoon and group 'Sugar's actress Hwang Jungeum is up for discussion as one of the new couples in 'We Got Married.'

The representatives of 'We Got Married' said that the four couples, Jung Hyungdon-Taeyeon, Shin Sungrok-Kim Shinyoung, Junjin-Lee Siyoung, and Kangin-Lee Yoonji will be leaving the show, and that new couples will be discussed and finalized by next week.

The special 'newspaper advertisement' birthday present that SNSD Jessica's fans made is becoming a topic of discussion.

On the 18th, Jessica's fans, to congratulate her 20th birthday, put up a happy birthday advertisement in a newspaper.

In the advertisement, there's an image of a cute Jessica caricature character and 'Happy Birthday To Jessica' written in.

The fans also wrote, "For 7 years, you've worked hard and we hope you'll get the love you deserve for all your hard work. Be happy. We love you~"

In February, SNSD's fans also made a newspaper advertisement for Sooyoung.

Meanwhile, SNSD stopped group activities in March. Yoona's doing MBC's Cinderella Man with Kwon Sangwoo and Tiffany and Yuri are Show! Music Core's MCs.
